The Dana/Spicer front axle is an automotive axle manufactured component your Roadmaster Monaco could have been equipped with which the # RM-RBK6-RSSA is not compatible with. Look on the BOM Bill of Material number plate for a number that starts with 60 or 61. view full answer...
I have a solution for you, but there won't be a plug and play harness to install a brake controller on your 2006 Monaco Knight; you can certainly hard wire one in though. I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195, which will give you responsive proportional braking for your towed trailer.
In order to install the P3 via hard wire I do recommend testing a few of those wires with a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to confirm their function-namely the 196 and 197 wires. The 197 wire... view full answer...
The Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180 will technically work with any vehicle that has a 7-Way with the trailer light and 12V power functions active. The reason why we don't list it as compatible with your 2007 Roadmaster Monaco Dynasty is because using a wireless brake controller with a Class A motorhome isn't going to produce consistent results. The Echo will technically work once the settings are established, but when you're on the road we can't guarantee the manual override... view full answer...
The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 is a really great option for a standard brake controller for your 2003 Roadmaster Monaco. This is a proportional brake controller like your Curt Echo # C51180 that performs as well as the more expensive options but is priced better.
The Echo is a great controller but on a longer vehicle like a motorhome the reception could be affected. view full answer...
Your 2005 Monaco Knight is built on a Freightline Monaco chassis which we do not carry a quick install harness for to install a brake controller like the # TK90160.
I did a little research and found that there should be a blue wire underneath the dash area that will be your brake output wire that will be run to the six way of the Monaco. You will connect this brake output wire to the brake output wire (blue wire) of your brake controller.
The red wire from the brake controller will be... view full answer...
It should be combined since that is standard trailer wiring for a 7-way which is also what's used with flat towing setups. Your only way to know with absolute certainty will be to use a circuit tester like # PTW2992 on all of the pins of the 7-way and then compare that to the 7-way diagram I attached. view full answer...
Is there any part number or info you can get from the steps you have? I might be able to see if there's replacement parts or come up with best replacement step solution. view full answer...
I was unable to find any motorhome called a Newmar Knight, but there is a 2006 Moncao Knight on a Roadmaster chassis, which is I believe you were referring to.
If so, we do carry the correct Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer, which is the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motorhomes # RM-RBK6-RSSA.
I have added a link to a video review of the stabilizer for you to check out as well. view full answer...
I have a solution that could help, but there are no aftermarket sway bars available for your 1997 Roadmaster Monaco. I spoke to my contact at Roadmaster and he recommended the Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer part # RM-RBK6-RSSA.
The sturdy steel spring on this stabilizer keeps your vehicle in line by constantly working to maintain its position. Mount it between the steering mechanism and the chassis for a tight connection that will minimize wander and correct oversteering.

There won't be a way to retrofit old incandescent lights to work with LED lights, so you will need to replace your existing lights. I also am not able to cross reference any of the part numbers you mentioned, but the dimensions are helpful.
Something like the Opti-Brite LED RV Dome Light - 880 Lumens - Flange Mount - Rectangle - Clear Lens # ILL10CCB you were looking at might be a good option to replace the larger light since they're similar sizes, but it does not have an exterior switch... view full answer...
I went out to our warehouse to get these measurements for the Replacement Bottom Ladder Section # SU77VR. These have an overall length of 36" with the two 7/8" inserts spaced 11" on center. The 7/8" is the outer diameter of the pipe that will insert into the upper section of the ladder. view full answer...

Since your trailer has a 7,000 pound GVWR there's a good chance it's equipped with two 3,500 pound axles. If this is the case then you can replace your existing hubs with the etrailer.com # AKHD-545-35-K. This hub and drum assembly uses the # L68149 inner bearing (1.378" inner diameter) and # L44649 outer bearing (1.063" inner diameter) that's commonly used on 3,500 pound axles.
You can verify fitment onto your current spindles by either checking for the numbers stamped inside the existing... view full answer...

We do not have gas charged bed lifts though. view full answer...
The 2006 Monaco Diplomat 40 PDQ Class A Motor Home that you have will use the Roadmaster chassis. You will need to determine which Roadmaster chassis is used on your motor home to choose the correct RSSA steering stabilzer and brackets.
The Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets, part # RM-RBK8-RSSA, that you have referenced will fit the 2000 to 2009 Roadmaster Motorhome Class A with straight axle, leaf springs, and 1-1/4 inch, 1-1/2 inch, or 1-3/4 inch tie rod.
