In order to carry skis or snowboards using a rack like the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier - 6 Skis or 4 Boards - Black # TH7326B, you will need a roof rack system since these do not mount to naked roofs. If you've got a factory roof rack system, the # TH7326B, # TH7325 and Kuat Switch 4 Ski and Snowboard Carrier - 4 Pairs of Skis or 2 Boards # KU94FR are designed to fit on factory roof rack crossbars, so they would all work without any additional parts.

Mounting 4 snowboards with bindings attached on the roof of a vehicle presents an issue, but we have several options that will work.
From Thule we have the ski and snowboard rack # TH732508, # TH7326B, or # TH7325.
From Rhino-Rack you can use their locking ski and snowboard carrier, # RR576, and there are many other options we carry as well. I've linked the page to all options that can carry 4 boards. view full answer...

Depending on what ski rack you have, the Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks # 7533998 may be the correct kit for you.
This kit will work for the first generation Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks # TH724 & # TH725 (DISCONTINUED).

I went ahead and sent the attached images you have of your older Thule Ski carrier to my tech at Thule. Unfortunately, from the pictures alone, he could not identify the specific rack. However, he did say that the Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks # 7533998 works for most older Thule ski/snowboard carriers when trying to apply to factory or aftermarket crossbars. It is important to note that these mounting clamps will only fit crossbars up to 3-3/4 inches wide.... view full answer...
In order to mount the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7326 to your 2014 Honda CR-V, you will also need a roof rack system.

The crossbars aerodynamic design provides a much quieter ride than traditional square bars. I have attached a review video of the WingBars for you.

I do have a solution for you to use the Inno Gravity Ski and Snowboard Carrier # INA951 on your 2018 Acura MDX but Inno doesn't have a fit kit that allows you to mount the (discontinued) Inno Dual Angle Ski and Snowboard Carrier INTX726 on your vehicle.
For the Inno Gravity you need a roof rack. I recommend going with the Yakima CoreBar roof rack because it gives you the high-end aero-style crossbars but they are at a lower price-point than the aluminum crossbars. For this you need the... view full answer...

The easiest way to tell the Thule 725 and 726 ski/snowboard carriers apart is the 725 is a fixed carrier and the 726 allows you to slide the clamping portion out making it easier to load and unload your skis/snowboards. When you open the 726 there is a tab which rotates to the right and allows the clamping portion to slide out.
The 725 will require the Mounting Kit # 7533998 while the 726 uses the Mounting Kit # TH7520970001 to fit your Thule Wingbar Evo roof rack. This will consist of... view full answer...
I recommend using the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack # Y01151-58, which is designed to fit in the add-on rails of a Retrax tonneau cover when used with the Tonneau Adapter # Y01155. This is a great option that will allow you to carry skis, kayaks, bikes or a roof top tent and because of the adjustable height it will give you the low profile you're looking for.

Yes, you will need crossbars to use the Thule SnowPack Extender Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part # TH7325, which you referenced. Part # TH7325 fits with round, square, aero/elliptical and most factory crossbars. According to my research the 2005 Subaru Forester can come with a factory roof rack with crossbars, with flush mount rails that run front to back, or factory side raised rails that run front to back.
If your roof has the factory roof rack with crossbars you will not need any additional... view full answer...
