I do have an option for you but we don't have any custom fit towing mirrors options for a 2020 Toyota Sequoia Platinum. Therefore, your only option are universal. I really like the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors part # KS3891-2 as they use an easy and effective ratchet style strap as well as a large 7-3/4" tall x 5-1/8" wide mirror face. view full answer...
We do carry off-road LED light bars that are a fit for your 2002 Toyota Sequoia; I recommend the MaxxTow Off-Road Light Bar # MT80636. This light bar has a mixed flood beam and spot beam so you can see at a wide angle and at a distance. It has two rows of 3-watt LEDs that have a 30,000 hour life span and comes with the mounting hardware and wiring harness necessary for installation.
I've added links to video reviews of this bar for you to take a look at as well. view full answer...
If you are hardwiring a brake controller to a vehicle you want to make sure you run the power wire of the controller to the vehicle battery through a circuit breaker. If the vehicle has brake controller wiring or a port for installing a brake controller then it will draw power through the fuse panel, but it is doing so through a circuit specifically designed for a brake controller.
Brake controllers draw a decent amount of amperage so you wouldn't want to power one through a circuit that... view full answer...
Whether or not you need a brake controller is really dependent on the trailer you have. Does it weigh more than half of the towing capacity of the vehicle? If so, a brake controller will be needed. Your tow button is not a substitute for a brake controller. It basically adjusts shift points to better suit towing.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is... view full answer...
For your tire size of 275/55-20 I'd recommend the Titan chains part # TC2327 which are a fit for your size, will install easily, provide great traction, and are Class S compatible which means they don't require a great deal of clearance.
Be sure to check the owners manual of your vehicle for any tire chain restrictions as well. view full answer...
First, you will need to consult the vehicle owners manual to find the towing capacity of your 2008 Toyota Sequoia. If the vehicle already has a trailer hitch, you will also need to look on the hitch for the towing capacity. Whichever is lower, the hitch or the vehicle, is the rating you need to go by.
If you need a trailer hitch, use # 13442. It has a capacity of 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight if you use it with a weight distribution system and 1,000 pounds tongue weight if used... view full answer...
I attached a page to the right that has all of the snow chains we offer that are confirmed to fit the P275/55R20 tire size you have on your 2010 Toyota Sequoia. The chains I would recommend would be the Titan Chains part # TC2533.
These are easy to install, provide excellent traction, and are a great price considering how nice the chains are.
Also, you need to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine if there are any restrictions on snow chain usage.
I attached an FAQ on... view full answer...
I have a solution for you, however, the Tow Ready 2 inch Trailer Ball, # 63018, has a shank length of 2-9/16 inches. This trailer ball will be too long to fit into the Equal-I-zer WD hitch.
The Equal-I-zer Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6080, is a 2 inch trailer ball with a 2-1/4 long shank. This is designed to be used in the Equal-I-zer WD hitches. A 1-7/8 inch thin walled socket, like # ALL643216 will be needed to mount the ball to the hitch head. view full answer...
A transmission cooler is very inexpensive insurance for your transmission, so I would highly recommend the Derale 8000 Series Transmission Cooler you referenced, part # D13503.
Although your dry weight is 1600lbs less than the vehicle towing capacity, once you add gear and fill water or propane tanks, you will be climbing closer to that 6500lb figure.
The cooler measures 11 inches x 8 inches, and is 7/8 of an inch thick. You will want to take a look in front of your radiator directly... view full answer...
According to Aries, their # AAB35-2001 bull bar will accommodate light bars up to 32 inches in length. The holes in the bull bar for mounting lights are 17.71 inches apart on center. Aries recommends either the 20 inch long # AA1501262 or the 30 inch long # AA1501264. The Aries light bars have a channel on the underside of the lamp housing to make mounting the lamp easier. You'd also want to use the # AA1110312 mounts which would join to the holes in the bull bar to the channel in the underside... view full answer...
We have exactly what you need, but first let's start with a hitch for you 2008 Toyota Sequoia in case you don't have one already. For that I recommend the Curt part # 13442 (no longer available).
Now for a cargo carrier that fits all of the needs you described I would recommend the Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier - 2" Hitches - 10 cu ft - 100 lbs # Y62VR. This carrier can swing out and away from the back of your vehicle to give you unrestricted access to the rear cargo area... view full answer...
There are a couple of ways you could add a 5-Way flat to your 2006 Toyota Sequoia. I recommend a more direct method. You can use the Adapter 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter, # 20036. One end plugs into the 5-Way on the boat trailer, the other end plugs into the 4-Way on the vehicle.
The 4-Way end has an additional wire for the extra function that is on the 5-Way end. If the extra pin on the trailer is used for an electric reverse lockout, you would connect the blue wire to the... view full answer...
We do offer wiring adapters such as # 20036, # 47515 and # C57187 that allow converting 4-pole flat type wiring to a 5-pole flat format that includes an additional circuit for a trailer surge coupler's reverse lockout feature. An example of such a coupler lockout solenoid is part # T4748800 from Titan. This has a 12V powered solenoid that blocks the flow of hydraulic fluid to the trailer's brakes, letting you back up the trailer without the brakes engaging. But all of these do require you... view full answer...
The brake controllers are not vehicle specific. For your Sequoia, I would recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller, part # 90885. It is easy to use and install, which makes it one of our best selling brake controllers. The brake controller would plug into the existing port under the dash, using the Brake Controller Wiring Adapter, part # 3040-P.
You can see an install video by using the provided link. view full answer...
For your 2016 Toyota Sequoia, I recommend looking at the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60786. These air springs will do a really nice job of enhancing the rear suspension on your vehicle so you can eliminate the sag you are seeing with the cargo area loaded. It features a load-leveling capacity of up to 1,000 pounds and the springs can be manually inflated to accommodate different types of loads you may be hauling. The air springs will install right inside the existing coil... view full answer...
For your 2004 Toyota Sequoia you would want the part # 20137 to give it a 7-way and a 4-way. We have heard of the pin outs on the connectors being different so what you would need to do is cut the wires of the connector so that they match what your vehicle has. I wish we had a separate connector for the different pin outs but at this time we do not. view full answer...
A weight distribution system is recommended anytime your trailer weight is more than 50 percent of your tow vehicle's weight. With a 2300 lb. trailer, and your 2006 Toyota Sequoia, you're under that but not by much. Especially, if you have anything in the R-pod.
With that being the case, I recommend a weight distribution system with sway control. To determine the correct system, we need to determine your total tongue weight, which is the tongue weight of the loaded and ready to tow... view full answer...
The simplest way to extend the # 3040-P harness would be to cut the wires and then splice in lengths of additional wire to add to the overall length of the harness so that you can install the P3 Brake Controller part # 90195 view full answer...
For your Toyota Sequoia there are only Weathertech Floor Mat options for the front and second row and for the cargo area. I spoke with my contact and they said the second row mats will also fit the 3rd row.
The part number for the gray front row would be # WT460441, for the second and third row # WT460443, and for the cargo area # WT42202. view full answer...
When choosing a weight distribution system, you will want one with a tongue weight capacity range that encompasses the trailer tongue weight, loaded and ready to tow. Based on the research I did on the R-Vision Trail Sport 27QBSS, it has a gross trailer weight of about 6,000 pounds. Since trailer weight should be between 10 and 15 percent of the gross trailer weight, you would need a system with a range of 600 to 900 pounds.
I recommend the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System with Sway... view full answer...
