Unfortunately, there is not a way to transfer that roof rack from a 2015 Honda Fit to a 2012 Toyota Prius V with a naked roof. I reached out to the manufacturer to verify this. That foot pack will not fit the Prius and there is not a foot pack compatible with both those crossbars and the Prius.

The 2013 Toyota Prius V can come with either of two stock tire sizes, 205/60-16 or 215/50-17. The larger size tire 215/50-17 is 8-1/2-inches wide. You are correct. The only hitches we have to offer for your 2012 Prius V are Class l hitches. You are limited to 2 bikes. Adding more bikes would certainly exceed the allowed weight limit on the back of your Prius.

Since the vehicle you have that has the 1-1/4 inch hitch on it is a Prius the hitch will be a Class I hitch and that means it can only carry up to 2 bikes. You can still carry your third bike on your roof, but at the hitch you can only carry 2.

The only replacement parts you need to secure your Thule Vertex 9029 to your hitch are # 908-1240-54 for the M12 Bolt, # 951-1224-54 for the Washer, and # 956122159 for the Lock Washer. There is no replacement nut available, and no need for one. These will screw into the shank/stinger on the bike rack when you install it. I have a solution for you, but the reason that you should only load 2 bikes on the Saris Porter bike rack when using a Class I hitch, is because with 3-4 bikes loaded, even if you are under the tongue weight, there is too much weight that is far from the hitch. This produces more torque on the tongue and can actually bend or twist the Class I hitch.
