Due to the threaded design of the hitch pin/hitch receiver tube you won't be able to use a standard hitch pin. It does take longer to remove the hitch pin from the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # Y36FR but the benefit of no rattling while hauling your bikes around will outweigh the extra time it takes.
