To determine if the Thule Motion XT XL cargo box # TH629806 and the Thule Motion XT Alpine part # TH613 are going to fit and allow you clearance to open your hatch you will need to take one measurement. You will need to measure from the center of your front crossbar back to the rear hatch seam.

I checked with our vendors and as of 04/27 the only hitch available for the 2023 Tesla Model X is the Draw-Tite item # 76143. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Tesla with included hardware. It does not have a removable receiver so you wouldn't need to use the magnetic accessory. However, there will still need to be a hole cut in the removable panel for the 2" receiver.

I have attached a photo of the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver part # 391TES317 installed on a 2018 Tesla Model 3. As you can see, the hitch pin hole is pretty even with the end of the bumper. Therefore, if you are worried about clearance with folding bike racks or cargo carriers you should not have any issues.

From what I'm able to find, the 2018 Tesla Model 3 has a towing capacity of 2000-lbs (likely very different for dual motor versions), but I do recommend confirming that with your owner's manual. Your owners manual for your 2023 Tesla Model X specifically states when carrying any hitch mounted vertical load within 24" of the hitch receiver the maximum load is 120lbs.
