The Truma Electric Cooler part # TR34VR can be powered by a generator via the 110V AC input, this can be pretty much any generator so long as it has a 110V plug. The generator does not have to have an inverter feature as well it can be just a standard generator. view full answer...
You cannot run a parallel kit from your A-iPower generators to different brand generators nor can you mix A-iPower generator ratings. Only option (if available) would be to go with a matching set like the part # 289-SUA2000i-2 you referenced. view full answer...
The reason that you cannot use the generator while it is in the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray # MR89RR is because the tray only locks in the stored position. If you use the generator in the tray, it could potentially slide back into the storage compartment and cause CO2 to get into your RV. The purpose behind the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray # MR89RR is to make getting your generator in and out easier. view full answer...
The Furrion Automatic Transfer Switch # F30ATS will automatically switch over to generator power when it's available but it would not auto start the generator itself. The automatic transfers switches that we currently offer will only automatically switch between power sources that are available, if the generator is off at the time shore power is lost then it won't sense power and switch over.
The ability to have the generator turn on automatically really depends on the generator itself... view full answer...
Firman manufactures the etrailer branded # 333-0004 exclusively for us, so they aren't available anywhere else. The closest Firman model would be number P03612 which has a 50 watt higher output and is cosmetically a little different. To see a Firman P03612 you could Google 'Firman Generator Dealers' and look for one in your area.
The generator does indeed deliver a trickle charge to the start battery while it's running. It is not recommended to use the # 333-0008 storage cover while the... view full answer...
The etrailer.com 2,000 Watt Portable Inverter Generator # 333-0001 does feature built-in parallel ability but it can only operate in parallel with another etrailer.com # 333-0001. It is not compatible with other brand generators like your Honda 2000i. view full answer...

I spoke with my contact at Firman and he said that the 10,000 Watt Portable Generator # 333-H08051 has a total harmonic distortion of 25 percent, which is pretty standard for this type of generator.
For a "clean electricity" unit you will need to go with an inverter generator like the etrailer.com # 333-0003-2-0007. These 2 single generators can be ran parallel to provide 6,000 watts of starting power and 5,500 watts of running power. This is the highest rated inverter generator set we... view full answer...
I agree, that note doesn't make sense.
When I reached out to my contact at MORryde they said the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray # MR79RR doesn't have a stopper for when the tray is in the fully opened position so you just need to make sure the tray stays slid out while the generator is running to avoid CO2 poisoning. Otherwise they could care less if the generator is left on the tray while it's being ran since it will be outside of the trailer cabin.
We'll take another look at that... view full answer...
You can use the Camco Power Grip Generator Adapter, part # CAM55272, to power your arc welder with your generator as long as the welder draws 30 amps or less. view full answer...
My recommendation is to simply unplug from the power pedestal if you wish to start up the generator for a maintenance run. It is the safest way to ensure that you do not overload your electrical system. Please ensure you follow the installation instructions for primary power source when installing the Progressive Dynamics Transfer Switch, # PD5110010Q. But yes, when generator power is applied there is a 20-45 second delay and then the relay activates transferring generator power to the... view full answer...
You don’t need to have both generators running if you want to run a coffee pot or smaller appliance on one of the 20A receptacles for the etrailer 6,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generators Kit # 333-0003-2-0007. When you want to use the 30A or 50A receptacle from the parallel kit (which it sounds like you are wanting to do), then both generators will need to be running. view full answer...
The Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier for A-Frame Trailers part # CC-255 is not going to provide the best ground for your generator. However, we do not carry Champion Generators therefore I strongly urge you to call the manufacturer to see where they recommend grounding the generator.
For example, the etrailer 3,200-Watt Portable Inverter Generator part # 333-0003 recommends that you connect a length of heavy gauge (12 AWG minimum) copper wire between the generator ground terminal... view full answer...
The Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch part # 34270278 won't start or stop the generator, it simply stops the transfer of power to the main source when shore power is detected. The term automatic refers to the automated stop of power i.e. no manual switch, not ignition to the generator. The generator would need to be started and tuned off manually. view full answer...
The Camco Power Grip Generator Adapter, part # CAM55272, plugs into the 30 amp power plug on your RV. It will work from your generator as long as you have the same 3 prong outlet to mate with the adapter. view full answer...
If you are set on using the # MNT64FR with your generator, the easiest way to lock your generator is by looping through a lock like the Trimax Thex Super Chain with U-Lock - 5' # TMX26ZR and securing to directly to your bumper. Most generators have some sort of arm/opening to attach a lock like this. If you find that you need something a bit thinner, you can also use the etrailer Lock Cable # e98891. view full answer...
The Camco Power Grip Generator Adapter, part # CAM55422, plugs into a 30 amp twist-lock outlet on a generator and then connects to the 50 amp outlet on your RV. So it converts the RV's 50 amp to work with the genertator's 30 amp. The twist-lock keeps the male end from vibrating out of the generator as it shakes, rattles, and rolls. view full answer...
No, generators like the A-iPower 2,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generator # 289-SUA2000i are only going to work when hooked up together if they are the same brand.
Since your current inverter generator is no longer made, your best option is to upgrade your setup with something like the A-iPower 3,800-Watt Portable Inverter Generators # 289-SUA2000i-2.
This setup includes 2 30 amp adapters, 2 DC charging cables, 2 spark plug wrenches, 2 oil funnels and will produce up to 3,800 watts of power... view full answer...
