No clips are required to install the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors # WT82712 on your 2015 Mazda CX-5. As illustrated in the linked installation video, the deflectors use a combination of the included tape and the pressure from the springiness of the plastic to hold them in place on your doors.
WeatherTech also offers custom-fit molded thermoplastic floor mats for the front, second row and rear cargo areas of the Mazda CX-5 which can be seen on the included link. view full answer...
We haven't had complaints about using the included adhesive backing on level set # HM08525. If you do go with a different double-sided tape be sure to completely remove the existing adhesive. I do not foresee there being a problem but there is one thing that could cause anything that uses adhesive to loosen: heat. With a high enough temperature for a long enough period of time the adhesive will become more fluid and that could cause them to slip. view full answer...
In the install instructions for the Draw Tite hitch part # 76138 which is a fit for your 2018 Mazda CX-5 the exhaust isolaters get reinstalled after the hitch is bolted into place. This means you would not have to remove the hitch to get to the isolators. It's actually the last step before reinstalling the rear fascia so you'd pretty easily be able to install them. view full answer...
In order to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76138 on your 2019 Mazda CX-5 you will need to lower the exhaust by removing the metal exhaust hanger studs from the rubber isolators. This can be done with the isolators left on the muffler side or on the vehicle side, it does not matter which you choose but I find it easier to leave them on the muffler side. In order to remove them you will need to spray a bit of lubricant inside the rubber and then you can use... view full answer...
To answer your first question, yes, you would be able to install wiring after you have put in Draw-Tite # 76138. In regards to your second question, the answer is it depends on the harness. For example, Curt T-Connector # C56377 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Mazda CX-5, and it could be installed without drilling. view full answer...

The install process for the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch part # C13315 is actually pretty simple and you do not need to remove your bumper. The only part that you need to remove is the small plastic trim piece that is on the bottom side of your fascia. Once removed you will not be re-installing it. I have attached a video to this page showing how the hitch installs on a 2018 CX-5 for your reference. It will be the same process for your 2020 since they are the same generation.

I attached a picture that shows the correct way to install the Lippert Jack-it bike rack part # LC429756 that you referenced. We do not recommend installing it in any different way if you are towing with it. There is a way to use it in a trailer hitch if you weren't towing but that wouldnt' work for your application. Most likely you'd still have access to the rear cargo door but it may be limited slightly. It's harder to say. view full answer...
When installing a 4 way like the Tekonsha # 118563 you will need to run an additional wire to the battery to supply the powered converter has it's own supply. This will also help avoid overloading that circuit and prevent any potential malfunctions from disabling the wiring harness. view full answer...
If you take a look at the cut out I added of the linked installation instructions, you can see that the connectors for your 2020 Mazda CX-5 are located behind the trim panels on the sides of your vehicle. These are the taillight wiring harnesses that you will connect to the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56377.
Along with the 4-way, to complete the towing set up on your 2020 Mazda CX-5 I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit... view full answer...
The Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 76138 is indeed a fit for a 2022 Mazda CX-5. Because the muffler on your vehicle is very large and is positioned at the center of the vehicle, it'll need to be temporarily lowered as shown in the linked install video.
It will be very difficult to lower the muffler without the rear of the vehicle being raised, so I'd recommend using a set of ramps such as # FT11909MI to provide some room under the rear of the vehicle.

The most direct route to run trailer wiring power wires for harness # 118564 on your 2016 Mazda CX-5 is to follow along a frame rail (there are likely other wires or lines you can wire tie the power wire to). Avoid any areas that might pinch or burn the wire such as suspension, exhaust, and engine components.
I actually wrote a help article which I have linked for you that has tips for routing the power wire including a few different methods. view full answer...

When you install the Swagman Chinook, part # S64683, Swagman recommends 40 foot pounds for its locking hitch pin.
I don't recommend using an impact wrench to install the hitch pin, as the correct installation can be achieved with a traditional wrench or socket set. view full answer...
We recommend running the wire to the positive battery terminal as recommended in the instructions, and here's why... Attaching directly to the battery provides an uninterrupted and reliable power source that will also help isolate the electrical system of the vehicle from any short circuits that could occur in the trailer wiring.
Installing the harness in the way you mention could leave the vehicle's electrical system exposed to damage and would also void any warranty protection on the... view full answer...
We can't recommend you use any power source for installing the Curt # C56377 other than the positive post of the battery. This allows you to completely bypass the wiring of the vehicle so that in the event of a trailer wiring short it doesn't hurt the vehicle wiring. view full answer...
You will not need to have your ECU flashed or programmed to install the 4-Way Vehicle Wiring Harness # C45FV on your 2023 Mazda CX-5. This connects inline of your vehicle tail lights and uses a powered module to then send power to your trailer tail lights. view full answer...
I don't have specific instructions for the power wire but when routing a power wire for a powered converter like the part # C56310 the key is to route the wire away from any moving parts or exhaust that would get too hot and melt the wiring.
If you can run the wire down a frame rail that would be ideal since that would protect the wiring somewhat.
I attached a help article that covers how to route the power wire for a converter. view full answer...
Yes, I can help you figure out where the wiring harness in your vehicle is to hook up a 4-way adapter like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118746. The T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your rear cargo area. You will have to remove some interior paneling to access this harness. I have included a couple pictures that help show this area as well as an installation video that will help with identifying where and how to hook up the wiring harness. view full answer...
