In order to pick out the correct rise/drop ball mount you need to take a couple measurements and do one simple calculation.
To pick out the correct one you will need to measure the distance from the top of your hitch opening to the ground and then with your trailer sitting as level as possible measure from the bottom of the coupler to the ground. First, in terms of boxes staying closed at high speeds you would not have to worry about any of the boxes opening up. Boxes made now are very secure and provided you have the box lid closed and locked there isn't really any way it could open while driving.

The first thing you will want to check is the hitch on your 2002 Lincoln Navigator to make sure it is compatible with weight distribution (which I am sure it is) and more specifically the tongue weight capacity when used with weight distribution.

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. I did some research and found that the roof weight capacity for your navigator is 200-lbs. With factory crossbars you will probably need to measure the length of the crossbars to see if 4 bikes would fit when placed side by side on the roof.

It looks like the 2006 Lincoln navigator came with a factory 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. This means that you can use any ball mount for a Class III hitch that has the correct rise or drop to tow the trailer level. What you are looking for is a proportional brake controller like the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 which senses the level of braking the tow vehicle is applying and then applies the same power to the trailer brakes. Auto or level means that as long as the controller is facing the correct direction it will be good to go. These two terms are interchangeable basically.

Although there are multiple tire chain options for 285/45-22 tires, they won't all work on a 2020 Lincoln Navigator due to clearance restrictions. This is a very large tire so your only real option are the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains part # KON84FR since they don't mount inside the tire.
