You are getting backfeed from the Jeep through the wiring harness back to the motorhome. I spoke to my contact at TrailerMate and they told me the diodes included with this system are not designed to prevent backfeed. We have a solution that will take care of that.

What we have found when there is an issue with running lights but not other lights when installing the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 is that the problem is almost always due to an issue with the diodes. So if the wires are not properly routed with the diodes, or there is an issue where a wire was somehow crimped or damaged then the running lights would not work.

You can adjust the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR using the sensitivity adjustments in the setup screen. The large number on the display represents the force setting. I suggest you hook the Jeep up to the motor home and test braking with it in a open area away from other vehicles. Test for max force by setting to maximum amount and verifying it engages. Both of the wiring harnesses we have available for the 2006 Jeep Wrangler, will work on your Jeep. If you have a factory 7-way on your 2017 Unity RV there will be a fuse assuming the 12V power is hooked up. You can check your owner's manual for the fuse location or look on the fuse box lids to identify it. Looking at fuse box diagrams online there are more than 2 locations, but I didn't see anything specifically for towing. There would not be a fuse in the 7-way connector. If the 12V power is not connected you could add a charge line # RM-156-75 to solve the power problem.

It's possible the converter box had an internal problem which caused it to stop working, but to test this you need to reinstall the part # HM56200. Use a circuit test like part # PTW2993 to test the voltage going into the box and coming out. If the voltage on the left turn signal is present on the input side when the turn signal is on but not the output side the box is at fault. If there's no voltage on the input then the issue is either the wiring or the connector not making good connection.

We have actually run into this issue quite a few times in the past, and there is a simple fix.
The reason the Curt Echo Wireless # C51180 locks up the brakes on your camper only at low speeds is due to it being paired incorrectly, usually plugging in the trailer to the Echo before plugging the Echo into the 7-way connector.

When you test the Roadmaster EvenBrake # RM-9400 it should conclude the test by pumping the brake pedal 3 times. It sounds like there might be an issue here with the Roadmaster EvenBrake # RM-9400 and the new vehicle might not have the Stop Light Switch # RM-751452 installed on it, which is required.

From what you described it sounds like you need to install the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400.
If your towed vehicle is the 2014 Jeep Wrangler that you input for your vehicle information then this makes sense. Typically we recommend disconnecting the battery when flat towing this vehicle. Usually the locking knobs on racks will also require you to push (or pull) on them while turning to get them to engage with the internal release mechanism that loosens the rack. If the lock mechanism rusted/corroded while in the locked position it may not engage properly even if you turn the key to the "unlocked" position.

Sounds like the motor is on it's way out if it's clicking. Similar to how a car starter will start clicking when it has failed and draws too much amperage to operate. Typically when turning on one of the light functions causes the other lights to cut out, it signals an issue with the ground connection on the trailer; the # ST6RB and # ST7RB lights both ground independently with their mounting hardware but there should be a ground wire on the trailer. The Even Brake, # RM-9400, sends a wireless signal to the receiver in the motorhome hand held unit and that signal can interfere with other signals. It sounds like the unit is sending a signal either looking for the hand held unit or something similar. You will want to unplug the transmitter from the power source and Even Brake.
