I was able to reach out to Roadmaster on this and the minimum distance allowable when towing with the Roadmaster Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts # RM-035 (3/4") or # RM-035-1 (1") and a Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522 is 22" apart.

It appears that on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ the brake switch wire used to connect a brake controller is white/tan. I do recommend verifying that it is the correct wire on your 2005 Jeep Wrangler LJ Rubicon using a Test Light # PTW2993. I spoke to my contact at Blue Ox and he told me there was a couple of different steps you could take to correct the issue of the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR pushing against the front seat of your 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
He said that you can press the Patriot up against the seat pan under your front seat. This will keep your Patriot from hitting the manual seat adjustment bar and moving your seat backwards.

Front mounted hitch # 31408 should not interfere with the rubber bumper blocks on your 1999 Jeep TJ, as the hitch is installing directly to pre-existing holes in the vehicle frame. The hitch also sits above the bumper and frame rails for better clearance.

From what I have found, there are four bolts holding the fuel tank in place at the back of your 2001 Jeep TJ. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13408 covers these bolts once it is installed, so it would have to be uninstalled in order to access them and remove your fuel tank.

I understand it can seem confusing but there is an easy solution. Very Easy! If you use the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118356 it will simply plug into the plugs beside each tail light. It will then send the signal to the 4 way trailer connector that you will hook the trailer to.

The Roadmaster BrakeMaster Braking System with BrakeAway for RVs with Hydraulic Brakes # RM-9060 does not require or benefit from vacuum assist. You could actually argue that it is more of a hindrance.
