No, they're about the same. The most difficult part of installing these baseplates is having to remove all of the trim and essentially the entire front end of your Liberty. I have linked both installation instructions below. We've only got an install video for the Roadmaster and it has been linked as well.
I recommend using the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM-521423-5 for your 2002 Jeep Liberty. You already have the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar item # RM-522... view full answer...
The best non binding tow bar for the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit item # 521433-1 is going to be the etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e44ZR. This tow bar is compatible with Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plates like the one on your 2012 Jeep Liberty.
The latches on this tow bar let you easily release your Jeep, even at a hard angle or on unlevel ground. It has a stainless steel construction with telescoping arms and a large hookup radius that makes hooking up easy.

The Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR1200S03 has a total weight capacity of 1,200 pounds. This means for a single axle trailer you'd be limited to this number.
For hub and drum assemblies the etrailer # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K will work perfectly and for brake assemblies you can use the Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA with Mounting Hardware # BRKH10B.
I have attached a short video review below that you can check out as well. view full answer...
The distance between the mounting holes that is on the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13044 that you referenced is 37-3/4 inches. This Curt Trailer Hitch # 13044 is confirmed to fit the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberties and should work well for your 2003 Liberty Renegade.
Occasionally during shipment a hitch will get slightly bent, in this situation it is okay to bend the hitch back with a floor jack, vise, or an open stairwell. However, if any visible signs of stress are on the hitch such as creases or... view full answer...
The Malone SteelTop Roof Rack - Square Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Steel - 58" Long # MPG202 has a total weight capacity of 165 lbs. This is true of the vast majority of roof rack systems. This is the standard roof rack rating but there are some manufacturers that will test the capacity based on the vehicle where other manufacturers like Malone will tell you the rating of their system and you need to check your owner's manual for any further weight restrictions.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part # TJRL4 you referenced is not designed to increase the tow weight capacity on your 2003 Jeep Liberty. There are many elements that determine the towing capacity of a given vehicle. The engine, transmission, suspension, and overall structural rigidity of the vehicle should be taken into account. The capacity is dictated by whatever the lowest rated component is. Increasing the load bearing capacity of the suspension (which the Timbrens... view full answer...
That's a hard number to give since a portion of the # HM39524 fits under the dash but I can give you the overall dimensions of this and you can compare that to the available space you have to see if it would fit. This measures 19" long x 11-3/4" wide x 6-3/4" tall. view full answer...

I checked with my contact at Roadmaster, and the High-Low hitch adapter # RM-048-6 measures approximately 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the angle bracket, which would be the first point that would risk coming in contact with a bumper or other structure.
The adapter measures 10.38 inches from the center of the pin hole on the shank to the center of the pin hole on the 2 inch receiver. view full answer...
I went to the warehouse and pulled this item to get these dimensions. Both the shanks under the basket and that mount to the hitch on the 24x60 etrailer.com Cargo Carrier # e98874 are 2"x2" and are 1/4" thick. Included is a video overview resource for more information. view full answer...
Since there isn't the exact size you want and the 96 inch length is longer than you'd need your best option would be the longer cable # TC96PB and then coil the harness to take up some of the extra length. You can cut it to length as well. view full answer...
If the Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier # PS10401-10402 was mounted in the hitch of a vehicle and you were directly behind the vehicle it would be 48 inches from left to right and 32 inches from front to back.
Check out the picture I attached to see these measurements.
If whatever you have is 23-1/2 inches wide and 42-1/2 inches long you should have no problem transporting it with the # PS10401-10402. You will want to make sure you do not exceed the carrying capacity of this carrier and... view full answer...

These measurements are all stated as center to center.
The front mount receiver fits 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty models. I've provided a photo showing the dimensions mentioned above, as well as a link to the installation instructions. view full answer...

I confirmed with Surco that the Safari Rack 5.0 with the included S48 crossbars and clamps will work your 2006 Jeep Liberty with factory rails.
To keep your cargo clean and dry, I recommend the Rightline Gear Sport 3 Rooftop Cargo Bag 48" x 40" x 19" part # RL100S30. view full answer...

Most trailers aren't required to have brakes until they exceed 3500 lb as a rule but state laws can vary as can vehicle manufacturer requirements. However, it is wise to add brakes to a trailer that more than 1/2 the weight of the tow vehicle. Your driving style will have an impact on the safety of towing without brakes.
The bigger issue is your 2012 Jeep Liberty 4x4 is not rated to tow 3200 lbs. Check your owners manual for more information. From what I can find online it looks... view full answer...
Think of the 300 pound capacity on front mount receiver # C31020 the same as you would tongue weight capacity on a rear mount hitch. The most vertical weight pushing straight down on the hitch would be 300 pounds. It would still work fine for winching applications even at angles.
Curt front mount hitch # C31020 is currently the only front mount option we carry for the 2009 Jeep Liberty. I have included a link to the installation instructions to the right. view full answer...
I took a couple measurements on the hitch receivers themselves and compared it to the measurements we made when we installed them on Jeeps to determine if there's a difference. We've installed the Draw-Tite # 75578 on a 2008 Jeep Liberty and the Curt # 13245 on a 2011.
The hitch pin hole of the Draw-Tite on the 2008 lines up perfectly even with the bumper's edge as shown in the video. The pin hole is 2-1/2 inches from the end of the receiver tube per my measurement. So when we combine... view full answer...
