Often times the running lights can stay on even after the ignition is switched off which would explain why the Curt Harness # C56406 allows the trailer lights to remain on after the ignition is switched off. Hey Jerred, so the Curt hitch part # C13395 does require lowering the exhaust (not removing it) to be installed which is a very common step with hitch installs to get them above the tail pipes. The Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401 and the (discontinued) Rapid Crossroad Feet TH450R are both almost identical when it comes to crossbar height increase. They sit in the 1-1/2" - 1-3/4" range from the height of the raised rails on your vehicle to the bottom of the crossbar.
