Yes, weight distribution shanks are interchangeable from manufacturers, so your Fastway # FA92-00-0600 can use an Equal-i-zer shank like the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 12" Long - 8" Rise, 4" Drop - 600 to 1,400 lbs TW # EQ90-02-4200. view full answer...
I can help you determine the correct replacement wheel for your 2018 Jayco Hummingbird RK but unfortunately I was not able to find the bolt pattern of your wheels as we do not have a list by manufacturer.
The most common bolt pattern is the 5 on 4-1/2" like what is found on the Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 15" x 5" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM20422 which is a very cost effective steel wheel, but to confirm this you will need to measure the bolt pattern on your spare wheel using the included... view full answer...
To start if you don't already have a place to mount the two tanks you can use the Complete Propane Tank Holder Mounting Kit for 20-lb Tanks - Black Item # 37220BL. This mounting kit will mount directly to the frame on your trailer.
Then you'll need a dual tank regulator like the Compact Low Pressure 2-Stage Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-31525. It comes with an indicator to show you when your tanks are running low and easily switches over to the other tank. You'll use... view full answer...
Your 2017 Jayco Hummingbird 17FD is indeed very similar in shape and size to the Rpod 178 camper. For a storage cover that will work great on I do recommend the Adco RV Cover # AD37ZR that you were looking at. This is confirmed to fit the trailer and it features 3 different areas along the passenger side that can open up to allow access. These openings span the entire length of the passenger side so you won't have any issue getting into the trailer when it's covered.
There isn't a cover... view full answer...
To determine the correct shank for your weight distribution hitch, you need to find the rise or drop you need, just like with a standard ball mount. This is only two measurements - first, measure from the ground to the top of your hitch receiver opening. Then measure from the ground to the bottom of your trailer coupler. If your hitch height is greater, you'll need a shank with that amount of drop; if your coupler height is greater, use shank with that amount of rise.
For example, let's... view full answer...
With both the Jayco and your Tacoma the Maxtrax Lite Recovery Boards # MA24ZV isn't going to have enough capacity. Instead, I'd recommend going with the Maxtrax Xtreme Recovery Boards # MA57FV which can handle up to 10,000 lbs according to MaxTrax. view full answer...
I do have a solution, but unfortunately none of the replacement arms will fit the Carefree awning you have now with the 87JVAP awning arms. From what I have found, the 87JVAP is a 78" arm so you can use the Solera XL Power Awning Support Arms for RVs - 78" Long - Black # LC362243 for replacement arms. For replacement fabric and a roller you can use the Solera XL Power Awning Roller Assembly - 10' Wide - Black Fade # LCV000334742. view full answer...
I don't have a way to determine if your brakes are self adjusting. I'd go ahead and try to set the P2 up under assumption they are adjusted properly. If you find you can't lock up the trailer brakes with the manual override lever of the controller that would be an indicator the brakes aren't adjusted/adjusting.
To determine if they are self adjusting you'd have to pull a hub off and look to see if there is a steel cable that runs diagonally across the assembly. view full answer...
The Furrion Vision S # FOS43TASF can be installed on your 2017 Jayco Hummingbird. You want to install the camera as high up on the rear of your trailer as you can. As long as the camera mount can sit flush and attach securely to the surface, you can mount it onto the rounded surface of your trailer. The vertical measurement of the mounting holes from center-to-center is 15/16" so that should allow the camera mount to sit pretty flat despite the rounded surface. If not, you might need to... view full answer...
The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision, part # FOS05TASF, does in fact stay on while driving.
Your 2018 Jayco Hummingbird Travel Trailer does not have to be put in reverse to activate the camera. The only thing needed for the camera to activate is for the headlights to be manually turned on. Because your trailer has the prewire system, this camera is getting power from the running lights. To view what the camera is viewing, is plug the monitor into your auxiliary... view full answer...

For your Jayco Hummingbird 17FD with a 400 to 450 lb tongue weight, I highly recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Hitch # FA92-00-0600.
The hitch is rated for tongue weights between 250 lbs - 600 lbs so it's rated perfectly for you, and there are a number of reasons I really like the Fastway. It has quality sway control, which is created by friction at two points on the brackets to keep your Hummingbird in line, and also the e2 is easier to set up than other systems, especially... view full answer...
The overall length I'm seeing for a 2017 Jayco Hummingbird 17RK is 19'9" so the actual body of your trailer should be around 17' so I recommend the Adco Olefin HD RV Cover # AD37ZR. This cover is designed to fit trailers 15' - 18' in body length. It's made with a white Olefin top panel that blocks harmful UV rays, which you experience quite a bit of in Phoenix, Arizona.
The passenger side of this cover is made of panels that can be unzipped to give you access to the entry door and cargo... view full answer...

Since you'll have to factor the door thickness into the entry width you'll want to measure how far it sticks out while opened. The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 24" Wide RV Door Frames # LC713662 are approximately 20 inches wide so you'd have about four inches of clearance and can slide it further towards the opposite side of the door frame from the door to ensure it clears the door. view full answer...
