In order to remove the hub/drum on your trailer you will want to first remove the spindle nut. Once the spindle nut is removed you are going to want to take a hammer and tap the outer portion of the drum as well as the hub face a few times to break loose an rust/dirt. You should then be able to pull the drum off. Once the drum is off you can wipe down the spindle and then spray the braking assemblies with brake cleaner. If you measured the stud size on your hub and drum assembly and they measured 1/2 inch then they may work with the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-219-4UC3-EZ, which also uses 1/2 inch wheel studs. The fact they are both 1/2" does not necessarily mean they will thread onto the new studs as they may be different thread pitches. Keep in mind those are for E-Z Lube axles so if you did not have those you could also use the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-219-4UC3.
