According to our install crew, the wiring was ran into the passenger cab using an existing grommet in the firewall. If you open the hood, on the driver's side of the firewall you'll see a rubber grommet where the main harness enters the passenger cabin from the engine compartment. Use a utility or an exacto knife to make a small slit in the grommet, and you'll be able to pass the wire through. I have linked the installation video you found for the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 on a 2023 Kia Telluride below. When installing on your 2023 Hyundai Palisade I recommend verifying the wire functions before splicing into the wires. While these do share a lot of the same parts I have seen instances where the exact same year make and model vehicles have had different color wires for their tail light functions. Yes! When using the Access Ramp for Kuat NV 2.0 # ANVBRB, you lift the end cap out of place, then place the mounting bracket in between, then reinstall the end cap with the locks. This way, the Kuat NV 2.0 # NV22G functions and locks the same way, you just have an extra piece on the end for your ramp.

Installing the Curt # C13427 on your new 2022 Hyundai Palisade will not require any drilling to get fully installed. With that said, there is a very minor, and I do mean very minor, trimming that may be needed to get a panel reinstalled after the hitch is in place. That is correct. A 7-way adapter like the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57672 has a blue wire which connects to a typical brake controller in your vehicle. The brakes on your trailer cannot be used without a brake controller. You need the brake controller to send the signal for braking in order for your brakes to function. You can, however, use the Curt Echo # C51180 without running the blue wire off of the back of the adapter.

We already have them! The hitches from the 2023 model year carried over to the 2024 Hyundai Palisades. I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e95ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Hyundai with included hardware.
The etrailer item # e95ZR is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight. I really like this hitch because the crosstube is hidden behind the rear bumper. This leaves only the 2" receiver visible.

Trimming of the bumper itself is not required, but trimming of the lower fascia (underneath the vehicle) is for the installation on a 2022 Hyundai Palisade of the etrailer Hitch # e95ZR.
That hitch requires trimming of a 5-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" deep section for the hitch to fit. There is not technically any trimming required to install the other two hitches that fit your '22 Palisade, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13427.

While you are correct that your 2021 Hyundai Palisade comes prewired for a 7-way connector, there is not a trailer brake controller harness compatible with the trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your vehicle.
What I recommend is getting the 7-way connector from your local Hyundai Dealer as they are currently the only people that have one available that will plug into your vehicle without splicing or running wires.

Curt does not have the same bolt order torque instructions as the Hyundai OEM hitch for you vehicle has. Maybe it would be a good idea to use that order but Curt basically found that it didn't make a difference.
There is a chance that the Curt Hitch part # C13420 might have some play between it and the frame of your vehicle before the bolts are torqued. Correct, the blue and yellow wires don't need to be hooked up when installing the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way part # ETBC7L on a 2023 Hyundai Palisade if installing a wireless trailer brake controller like the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller part # C51180. Yes, you will need to run two power wires to the battery when installing the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7. The first power wire that goes to the 4-way is for the converter and that's what actually powers the trailer lights. The second power wire that goes to the 7-way is for powering a battery on the trailer if equipped. On your 2020 Hyundai Palisade you will want to look for several wires connected to the brake pedal switch.
To verify that you are connecting the red brake controller wire (brake input) to the correct wire on your vehicle's brake wiring, you need to verify which wire coming off your brake connector has power ONLY when the brakes are applied. You can use a tool like LCD Digital Circuit Tester # PTW2992 to determine this.
