Disconnecting the factory taillight connectors on the 2012 Honda Ridgeline requires pressing on the correct locking tab on the wiring connector. I produced a short video showing how to disconnect the wiring harness so you can install the T-One Wiring Harness, # 118400, on your vehicle. view full answer...
Since the BedRug Custom Truck Bed Mat # BMH17RBS is custom fit to the bed of your 2022 Honda Ridgeline it fits so well that air would not get underneath it in a way that would allow it to blow out of the truck. view full answer...
The photos that you referenced for installing the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 on your 2019 Honda Ridgeline actually came from Pop & Lock.
Currently (July 2019) we don't have an installation video showing this method but basically you just need to route the wiring to the B pillar (by the driver's side seatbelt) to connect the wiring. You will use the same small red and small yellow wires as in the installation instructions like you see in the photos. You can follow the attached... view full answer...
If you were to unplug the Tekonsha Primus IQ from your vehicle it would reset and the setting would be lost.
It would not lose it's settings if you were to unplug your trailer connector from your tow vehicle after towing. view full answer...
You're in the right neighborhood looking for the connector for the # 118253 trailer wiring harness...Look on the right side of the steering column where it passes through the under-dash area. You're looking for a 12 pin connector that's been taped to a wiring harness. Sometimes, the tape will hide the connector, making it kind of difficult to see. view full answer...
There aren't any official installation instructions for routing the wiring from the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 to the B pillar on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline Touring but the manufacturer did provide us with a couple images and general steps that can be used.
You basically just need to route the wiring to the B pillar, which is located by the driver's side seatbelt in your Ridgeline. Once there find the small red and yellow wires (lock and unlock) that you will connect to... view full answer...
What we have found is that when installing a wiring harness such as the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118778 in a 2019 Honda Ridgeline, that 12-pin plug you are referring to can be frustratingly difficult to find and not exactly where the directions always say it is.
We have had customers tell us that on some models of their Ridgeline they were required to actually remove the rear seat (instead of just fold it up) and remove the back trim (on the driver's... view full answer...
There is no manual override on the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock part # PAL8600 you are correct. However, you can pair this with the Manual Lock w/ Handle for Pop & Lock Custom Powered Tailgate Lock part # PL6250 to obtain a fail safe.
Please note, the above options will not work if you have a factory locking tailgate handle. view full answer...
The BAK X2 Revolver # BAK39602 for your 2017 Honda Ridgeline is attached to its rails at the front of the bed via 2 bolts on each side. Removing those will allow the cover to come off. Putting it back on is easy you just have to make sure it is lined up properly. The cover is not really meant to come on and off frequently. I have linked the instructions for you.
The covers are custom made to fit the trucks they were designed for. If the correct cover was purchased and it does not fit because... view full answer...
Usually, for your vehicle all that is needed is the # 3070-P and the brake controller. The circuit that supplies 12V power to the brake controller is activated by a fuse that's located in the fusebox on the firewall next to the brake fluid reservoir. The fuse location is # 3, and you'd need to install a 20A fuse in that location to activate the controller. I've also seen references stating that the fuse is located in location # 14, so you can look at the fuse box lid, which will list the... view full answer...
When we've installed brake controllers like the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 in similar Honda Ridgelines as yours that have the factory 7-way we did not have to also install a fuse into the fuse box. We just simply plugged in the install harness # 3070-P under the dash and in the controller and it was ready to go. See install video that shows this entire process on a 2017 Honda Ridgeline.
You might still check your fuse box to see if it's missing a brake controller power fuse but you should... view full answer...
Thank you for the photo, it was helpful. From that it simply looks like you need to remove the locking tab of the tow plug on your 2018 Honda Ridgeline. The fastener at the top needs to be removed (what the arrow is pointing at) by sliding it rearwards. It has locking tabs as well so press down on those and that should remove the protective cap on the tow plug and you can complete your installation of the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118778.

Congratulations on your new truck!
The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit and will work great on your 2019 Honda Ridgeline. We don't have any specific recommendations as to where you can have this installed but the process shouldn't be a problem for a mechanic with some experience. I recommend simply finding a local mechanic or shop with a good reputation to perform the install.
Pop & Lock estimates a total install time of less than... view full answer...
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118778 that fits your 2019 Honda Ridgeline has fuses and they are required for this particular installation.
Thankfully the linked instructions make it very clear where the three fuses (which are included) need to go during the installation of this harness. Under the hood of your Ridgeline find the fuse panel and insert the pair of 7.5 amp fuses in Position 6 and Position 7. Following that you will install the 20 amp... view full answer...
I don't have any specifics as to which color wire serves which function but using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 you can easily determine wire function on your own.
Have a helper activate the left turn signal. Probe the wires until you find the circuit that makes the tester blink along with the turn signal. Splice the yellow wire into that circuit. Then, activate the right turn signal, probe the wires until you find the right one then splice the green wire into that. Then, activate the... view full answer...
We don't have any photos of the Lomax # AB1060019 on a Honda Ridgeline, but it's only going to allow you to open it about as high as the bedrails go, since this cover mounts right inside the bedrails. Since it does not allow full functioning of the rear trunk lid, I recommend going with a tonneau cover that mounts to the top of the bed rails like the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 # EX83590, which is a confirmed fit for your truck. The Extang Solid Fold 2.0 is also a hard, folding tonneau cover,... view full answer...
The Extang Trifecta Signature 2.0 Soft Tonneau Cover # EX94590 you referenced for your 2022 Honda Ridgeline most certainly does come with mounting hardware and does not need to be cut to install. The tracks that come with this cover will bolt onto the bedrails using the existing holes/bolts. These rails will give the clamps on the cover supports a place to clamp down onto to hold to cover down on the bed.

The Pop&Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PL6200 comes with 2 keys included for the tailgate locking mechanism, so you'll never be locked out if for some reason the power lock failed. The Pop&Lock is a great solution to provide a secure storage space on your truck bed when paired with a tonneau cover or camper shell.
I attached a photo that shows the lock that is built into the handle, which will be operated by the included keys. view full answer...
The Extang Trifecta 2.0 Folding Soft Tonneau Cover # EX92590 is a rail-free design that allows the cover to be completely removed from the truck. All mounting clamps are integrated into the cover itself. The cover installs without drilling and no tools are required. Please refer to the linked video from Extang. view full answer...
The Tekonsha version of the Reese harness 85715 is # 118491 for the 2012 Honda Ridgeline. Reese and Tekonsha are the same company. You may or may not need all of the included fuses and relays that come with either of these kits. The larger "box" fuse does not install on the Ridgeline. I have linked the instructions for harness # 118491. You can see that in the instructions that box fuse is only used on the Pilot. view full answer...
