  • Best Way to Transport Expensive Bikes with a 2010 Honda Accord CrossTour
  • We have hitches that are designed to fit your 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour. Hitch mounted bike racks are the way to go, especially for transporting expensive bikes for a long period of time. For a hitch you would want the Curt Hitch part # C11002 as this has been confirmed to fit your vehicle. For a top-of-the-line bike rack to use with this hitch I would recommend the Thule T2 Bike Rack part # TH9045. This rack is compatible with the hitch I referenced, can lock to your hitch and lock...

  • 2017 Honda Accord Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations
  • I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24899 for your 2017 Honda Accord. If you don't have a bike rack already then I highly recommend checking out the Kuat Beta # B202-114. I really like this rack because it's lightweight and really easy to use. Attached is a review video for you to check out!

  • Hitch Bike Rack Recommendation for Vehicle with Limited Ground Clearance
  • When it comes to tight ground clearance for a hitch bike rack I would go with a platform bike rack. If for nothing else if you were to drag something it would be the bottom of the rack and not a bike wheel. The Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F has great ground clearance due to the rise it has built into the shank. I attached a review video that shows it installed on a similar Subaru's hitch as well.

  • Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2014 Honda Accord LX Sedan
  • There are two different trailer wiring harnesses available for the 2014 Accord. The wiring harness you need will depend on whether or not your Accord has LED taillights. If your vehicle has regular incandescent taillights, use part # 118596. Or, if you DO have LED taillights, use part # C56173. Both trailer wiring harnesses would plug inline with the wiring harness that feeds the taillight assemblies. A wire will need to be ran under the vehicle up to the battery. I've linked you to a...

  • Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for Recumbent Bike
  • Recumbent bikes are typically pretty long. Most of the time they have at least a 60 inch wheelbase. The Sitkka part # S64687 has a max wheelbase of 44 inches but could work with a 20 inch diameter wheel. A better option would be a rack designed for recumbent bikes like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider part # HR1000Z-R which can fit up to a 74 inch wheelbase.

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour
  • The Curt hitch # C11002 for the 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour is going to be visible below the rear fascia as you can see in the picture I have provided. What I recommend is EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7299. This hitch has a hidden crossbar and will look great on your Crosstour. This hitch with an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier but can also be used for towing if your vehicle is rated for it. The EcoHitch trailer hitch does not require the...

  • Bike Adapter Bar for an Electra Townie 7D Mens Bike and Thule OutWayTrunk Mount Bike Rack
  • The bike adapater bars, like # TH982XT, are also a fit for the trunk mount bike racks like the OutWay # TH56JV. All of the adapter bars work in the same manner, the bar telescopes to a certain length and clamp under the seat and under the handle bars so you can carry the bike more level. The # TH982XT would be a good choice. Looking at some pictures of the bike you would most likely have to raise the seat as high as you could to get an adapter bar to fit and be affective. Otherwise, you...

  • Altering Handle of 5000 lb Bulldog Jack
  • The reason you are having issues is that the Bulldog Jack you have, # BD195351 has a static capacity of 5000 lbs, which means that it can hold a maximum of 5000 lbs. The lift capacity of the jack is 3000 lbs, which explains why it becomes difficult to crank after 2000 lbs. For a 5000 lb lift capacity, you would need to go with a higher capacity jack, like part # BD190751. Altering the geometry of your jack handle will most likely damage the interior components, like you suspected.

  • Worm Gear Hand Winch and Strap to Lift a 50 lb Rooftop Carrier Off of a 2012 Honda Accord
  • The Dutton-Lainson Worm Gear Hand Winch, # DL10950, cannot be used with a nylon strap. This is a cable only application that would work well to raise and lower your 50 lb rooftop carrier if your set up allows use of a cable If your set up requires a strap, you could use the Dutton-Lainson WG2000 Worm Gear Hand Winch, # DL11002. This is the only worm gear hand winch we offer that will accept a strap and it has a rated capacity of 2,000 lbs. This winch requires a 2 inch wide strap like...

  • 3 Bike Trunk Rack Recommendation for a 2015 Honda Accord
  • Since the F1B Hollywood Racks trunk has been discontinued it was never tested on a 2015 Honda Accord. Most likely it would fit, but I do not know this for certain. • Trunk Mount Bike Carrier for a 2004 Honda Accord with Rear Spoiler
  • For your 2004 Honda Accord with rear spoiler I recommend the Saris Bones # SA803. You can carry 1, 2, or 3 bikes up to 35 pounds each. This carrier has a long reach to go up and over spoilers. I have linked a video review for you. It also comes in a popping red with part # SAR55FR if you prefer. • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 1999 Honda Accord
  • There are several components needed to flat tow a vehicle like your 1999 Honda Accord. To start you will need a base plate kit. For that I would recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit # 1545-1. Next, you will need a tow bar. For that I recommend the the Falcon 2, # RM-520. For safety cables you can use # RM-643. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground. For lighting I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. I confirmed with Roadmaster...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch And Trailer Wiring For 2007 Honda Accord Coupe
  • I did some research on your 2007 Accord Coupe and according to the owner's manual, you are limited to a 1,000-lb towing weight capacity. That is the combined weight of the trailer and any cargo loaded on the trailer. This information is on page 213 of the owner's manual. It also stated that the maximum tongue weight is 100-lbs. I am afraid carrying 2 motorcycles that weigh 400-lbs on a trailer that weighs 310-lbs would exceed the towing capacity of your Accord. If you find you can eliminate...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2006 Honda Accord
  • Unfortunately we only carry Class I Hitches with a 1-1/4" receiver for your 2006 Honda Accord Sedan. This is because your vehicle has a Gross Towing Weight Capacity of 1,000 lbs. and a Tongue Weight Capacity of 100 lbs. The hitch I recommend for your 2006 Honda Accord Sedan is the Draw-Tite Class I Hitch # 24787. I recommend this hitch because you do not have to use stabilizing straps like you would with the Curt Hitches when carrying all non trailer loads, like bike racks. The GTW capacity...

  • Recommended Bike Carrier For 2015 Honda Accord
  • When installing a bike rack on a vehicle there are a few things to consider. for the most part, platform-style bike racks like the Saris Freedom, part # SA4412B would provide a nice solid rack to carry your bikes. This bike rack weighs just 22-1/2 lbs so it is not a really heavy rack. I have attached a link to a video showing this bike rack on a Honda Accord you can check out. With the shank rise it does provide clearance for you, and when unloaded you can lower the center mast giving you...

  • Trailer Hitch for Carrying a Bike Rack on a 2005 Honda Accord Coupe
  • For your 2005 Honda Accord, I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24787. This is a Class I, 1-1/4 inch receiver opening hitch with 2,000 pounds of gross trailer weight capacity, and between 200 and 300 pounds of tongue weight capacity. All of the hitches available for your vehicle are Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitches. This limits the bike racks you can attach to those that will fit in a Class I, 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch. I have included a link to the instructions for the Draw-Tite hitch...
