Furrion states that there really is no minimum for things that are mounted on the same wall. You wouldn't want the fireplace blowing directly on anything combustible. The fireplace has a proximity sensor that will shut it down if an object is placed within 6 inches in front of the fireplace, it'll shut down until the object is removed and the power switch is cycled.
Other than that, there are no further limitations. If you click the provided link, you can see a product description video... view full answer...
There is a vent on the top of the Greystone 32" Electric Fireplace with Crystals part # 324-000077 which cannot be blocked or restricted but aside from that there are no other ventilation requirements for this unit. There would be absolutely no issue mounting this unit inside an old cabinet as this is actually a very popular location for these fireplaces. The cabinets I can only assume will not be air tight so the vent on top of the unit will be fine so long as nothing is placed directly... view full answer...
According to the installation instructions, all the holes needed for ventilation are on the front of the unit. One on the front face, and a series of vents on the top of the portion of the fireplace that stands off from the mounting surface as shown in the provided diagram. Your 6-1/4 inch available depth will be sufficient, as the depth of the portion of the unit that will be in the wall is 5-3/16 inches.

Behind your fireplace there is a standard power cord that is plugged into a wall outlet which you'd need to unplug to reset it. If there's a way to access behind the fireplace like with a cabinet door nearby (to the side of it or behind it) you could reach in there to unplug it. Or you would have to pull the fireplace out and unplug it.
