To replace your Shelby 5480A 2-speed winch with one that can be used in the manner you specified, it sounds like you need one with a handbrake. Since you also require one with cable and at least 3,200 lbs, the closest option is the Fulton High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Handbrake - Cable Only - Zinc - 3,700 lbs # F142430. view full answer...
It is possible for your 2021 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS to go from 16 inch to 17-1/2 inch wheels and tires, yes. You currently have a hub with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, and since you mentioned replacing the suspension you would need one that had a hub with an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern.
Your Grand Design currently has ST235/80R16 size tires, and if you went with 17-1/2 inch wheels the overall tire size would actually decrease slightly if you went to 215/75R17.5 tires (from 30.9" diameter/9.4"... view full answer...

There are no backup cameras for your Grand Design Reflection that integrate with the Ford backup camera, so while I realize it's not the answer you were looking for, you will need to get a separate monitor. The good news about that is you have your choice of size of monitor so you can go with a smaller one if you want to take up less space, or a larger one for the best view possible.
Here are the options for Furrion systems for your pre-wired Grand Design Reflection:

We do not recommend moving from 7,000lb # e64SR to 8,000lb # DX74XR leaf springs as this creates a stiffer ride with more bounce. This causes more shock to transfer inside your RV which can cause damage to the trim and electronics. Instead I recommend adding the SumoSprings # SS26MV for overslung axles or # SS33HR for underslung axles. These help to absorb shock from transferring in your trailer as well as give you more support to reduce sag in the leaf springs.
Also adding heavier leaf... view full answer...
This is great information! Thank you for reaching out to us with this tip. You're correct that the rain sensor closes the MaxxFan's cover when it detects surrounding rain or snow.
As noted in our product description for the # MA00-04500K, there's also a button on your MaxxFan's keypad that allows you to deactivate the sensor in situations like this, but tread carefully. These safety lockouts are designed to prevent excess moisture from entering your Grand Design Reflection 320MKS from... view full answer...
I spoke to Aries about the warranty of the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards like part # AA3048324. They are covered under a limited lifetime warranty but there are a few exclusions because there are multiple components. The limited lifetime warranty covers material and workmanship. The lights are covered by a three year warranty and the finish/hardware are covered by a five year warranty. view full answer...
Due to the long list of variables that can affect the lifespan of a trailer tire, Lionshead who manufactures the Westlake tires couldn't provide a mileage number. They tell me that the average life expectancy of a trailer tire is between 3 and 5 years, which I'd certainly agree with.
Trailer tires will typically tend to dry rot and crack before the tread wears down. The best way to maximize the life of your tires is to:
• Keep tires inflated to psi listed on tire sidewall
• Don't exceed... view full answer...
Each of the replacement ladders that we carry are universal fits as we don't carry OEM replacement parts, just aftermarket parts. These ladders will work for your 2017 Grand Design Solitude 310GK but will require installation and they can be cut to fit the exact length you need.
Your options are the Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder w/ Hinges # LA-401 (Silver) or # LA-401BA which measure 99-1/2" tall, or the Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder # SP502L which is 84-1/2" tall.

It's recommended that trailer tires be replaced after 5 or so years of use. If these tires are unused, and have been stored indoors where they haven't been bearing weight or exposed to UV radiation, they're perfectly safe to use until you hit the 5-6 year of usage mark or until the tread wears, whichever comes first.
It can take a year or more for an overseas-manufactured tires to reach the US. They're manufactured, then they sit in a warehouse until somebody orders them. They're then... view full answer...

According to the manufacturer, you can indeed connect multiple hoses together. However, we do offer the hose in a 25 foot length as part # W01-5325 or a 50 foot length as # W01-5350. Rather than daisy chaining multiple hoses together, I'd recommend just going with a longer hose to save the inconvenience of running several extension cords to power each length.
If you click the provided link, you can see a video where my buddy Hayden will walk you through how the hose works. view full answer...

If you need an axle replacement because one is damaged, you will be fine sticking with the 7,000 lb axles you currently have. All you would need to do is get the hub face to hub face measurement to choose the right axle length. We have 94" # 8327864 and 95" # 8327834 7k Dexter axle replacements. Unfortunately, we do not have any 8,000 lb axles available.
I suspect the reason you want to add 8k axles is based on the GVWR of your 2018 Grand Design Momentum 351. The one thing you need to... view full answer...
Our trailer wheel and tire combos come from the manufacturer mounted. As trailer tires do not require balancing most manufacturers will not balance their tire packages like the Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel # AM3S160.
We do offer Counteract Tire Balancing Beads # CA66VR that you can add to each wheel that will balance the tire while you are driving. They are also available as a 4 Pack # CA83VR if you are doing all 4 wheels on a tandem axle trailer.

The monitor included with the Furrion # FCE48TASL-05 Vision S camera system can display a quad split screen or a single image. The term 'adequate' is pretty subjective, what one person would find adequate, another possibly wouldn't.
The primary use of the camera system while the RV is under way is to provide the driver with a view of what's behind the RV (and alongside with the 3 camera system). In my opinion, in the quad screen mode, the average person will be able to see more than enough... view full answer...
