Removing the fuses will ensure the battery does not drain and there is unfortunately no way around this. While you are welcome to try leaving the fuses in, there is a much better option.

- That's odd...when I run your vehicle through our fitguide, I find that Curt does't offer a Class V hitch for your vehicle. I have confirmed that the # C15302 is listed as a fit for the 2500 Sierra/Silverado but not the Yukon.
Draw-Tite offers a Class V, part # DT45515 which is what I'd recommend. With a 12K GTW/1200TW or 14K GTW/1700lbTW with weight distribution, it'll have plenty of capacity.
