To our knowledge the Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist # 74211 has not been test fitted on a 2004 GMC Envoy XUV. Technically the lift assist is not made to be custom fitted for any one vehicle, and there is a pretty long list of trucks that it will work with.
