I recommend using the CIPA Towing Mirrors # 7070-2 on your 2024 GMC Canyon as there are no custom fit options. These are my favorite universal mirrors as they have a large single mirror with a simple strap system for connecting. The adjustable arms help to surround the mirror and reduce vibration.

The actual tow hooks on your 2016 GMC Canyon cannot be used for flat-towing as there would be no way to secure a tow bar to them. I think you will find that with a plow on the front of your 2016 GMC Canyon adding helper springs in the front will be a great, if not necessary, addition to your set up. While we have really great tow mirrors that do fit your 2019 GMC Canyon we don't have any custom fit options like the CIPA set you mentioned. The ones I recommend that fit really well are the K-Source tow mirrors part # KS3990. We had the chance to test fit these on a similar 2017 Canyon and we found they installed easily and were very stable. I also really like that each mirror assembly has two mirror faces so you can have two views in addition to your truck's current mirrors.
