  • Coupler Lock Recommendation for a Bulldog Cast Coupler # BD4425000317
  • I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Bulldog trailer coupler, # BD4425000317, to determine what the best lock for it would be. The best option would be a simple latch lock like # 2847DAT. This will prevent the latch from opening. I have included a link to a video review of the lock for you.

  • Where to Measure to Pick Out Correct Fan Spacer for Belt Driven Fan
  • I can help you determine the size spacer you'll need but we don't have the exact figure you are looking for. If the fan you are mounting does not have a shroud, measure from the flange on your vehicle's water pump to the radiator. Subtract 3" from that measurement to get your spacer size. If you are installing a fan with a shroud, measure from the water pump's flange to the edge of the mounted shroud and add 3/4" for your spacer length. Check out the picture I attached for more info on...

  • High Capacity Hitch and Weight Distribution System for a 1998 GMC K1500
  • Your trailer is pretty heavy so I would recommend a Class V hitch like the Curt part # C15325 which has been confirmed as a fit for your 1998 GMC K1500. This hitch has towing capacities of 2,400 lbs tongue weight and 16,000 lbs total trailer weight. Your spare can be reinstalled after installing this hitch. Most likely you are going to need a weight distribution system for that trailer, but first you really need to make sure your vehicle is rated for towing your trailer. In the owners...

  • Recommended Sumo Spring Suspension Enhancement for 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 4WD
  • I'm happy to help you with that application. For your 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 4WD there are three SumoSpring options for your truck. If you will be doing normal towing and payloads then I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-211-40 which are rated for 1,000 lbs. They will not give you a harsh ride but will help you with load leveling and support. If you will be doing more heavy trailer hauling or heavier bed loads then I recommend # SSR-211-47 which is rated for...

  • Tire Chain for Size 265/75-16 and 285/75-16
  • I wish we had a set of tire chains that fit both of the tire sizes you mentioned of 265/75-16 and 285/75-16 but none of the chain options we carry fit both sizes. Tire chain fits are really specific so it's hard to really ever be able to buy one set that's going to fit multiple vehicles. You'd need a set like the part # TC2326 for the 265 size and the # TC2533 for the 285 size. This style of diamond pattern chain will do really well in the ice. The square links will break up the ice well...

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring that When Connected Causes Issues on Vehicle Wiring
  • Sounds like the trailer wiring has some issues. Most likely a short or grounding problems. I know that's not very specific but your best option is to start at the trailer connectors and make sure they are clean and free of corrosion and then work your way back on the wiring of the trailer fixing any exposed wire as needed. Also make sure the grounds of the lights are solid as well. I attached a help article on trailer wiring troubleshooting as well.

  • Troubleshooting Green Light on Display of Tekonsha Voyager 39510 All the Time
  • The green light on the display of the Tekonsha Voyager part # 39510 indicates that a trailer is connected. If you are seeing this all the time on the controller that would indicate that you most likely have some corrosion on the pins of your trailer wiring connector which is tricking the controller into thinking a trailer is connected. This is a very common issue so I'd almost guarantee it's the issue. I attached a help article on brake controller troubleshooting for you to check out as well.

  • Trailer Wiring Harness for a 1994 GMC C/K Series Pickup Truck
  • In 1994 the Sierra was just a trim level of the C/K series GM trucks. It wasn't until 1999 that the Sierra started to take the place of the C or K designation and that transition was complete in 2000. For a trailer wiring harness that will fit your truck I recommend the Tow Ready harness # 118315. It plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you. A mounting bracket such as # 18144 is also recommended.

  • Trailer Hitch for 1998 GMC C/K 3500 Cab/Chassis with Dual Rear Wheels
  • We've got you covered. The cab and chassis models did indeed have a 34 inch frame width. I'm not sure what kind of capacity you're needing, but because it's a dump truck on a 1 ton chassis, I'll give you a medium and a heavy duty option. For a heavy duty option with a 15000 lb towing capacity/1500 lb tongue weight capacity, I'd recommend the Curt Class V hitch, part # C15511. If you don't need quite that much grunt, Curt offers the Class IV # C14082 with a 10K towing/1000 lb tongue weight...

  • Will the Titan Disc Brake Kit T4843300 Fit a Trail Rite Boat Trailer
  • The brake lines of your trailer should be fine for the installation of a disc brake setup. But surge actuator are designed for either a disc or drum setup. Since yours is setup for a drum brake setup you would also have to replace that with one rated for disc. The # T4843300 does come with everything you would need (plus brake lines), but you would need to be sure that this kit will fit your wheels by determining your wheel bolt pattern. This kit as a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. I attached...

In addition to the cotter pin and spindle washer, this kit includes the 10-60 grease seal which has an inner diameter of 1.500 inches and an outer diameter of 1.987 inches. You will just want to make sure this matches your existing seal to confirm that this will work both on your spindle and with your current hubs. To replace the bearings and seal on both of your hubs you will...

  • Recommended Base Plate Kit for a 1993 GMC 1500 Pickup
  • There are two base plates kits offered for the 1993 GMC 1500 pickup, but you must take a measurement to determine which kit will work on your particular truck. Your RoadMaster Blackhawk 2 tow bar will work with either kit. The required measurement will be taken from the center point of the lower-most threaded hole on the side of the frame, to the center line of the rearmost elongated hole on the bottom of the frame. If this distance is 1-1/4 inches, you would need RoadMaster base plate...

  • Replacement Rear Bumper Recommendation for 1992 GMC C/K 1500
  • I attached a link to a page that has all of the bumpers we offer that do fit your 1992 GMC C/K 1500 but the part # 61001 that you referenced does not fit it. The most similar bumper we have is the Diamonstep version part # 20009-92230 or the Perfect Match part # 31000.

This receiver is rated for 9,000 lbs line pull, vertical load of 500 lbs, and gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs. I also recommend the Draw-Tite QSP Trailer Hitch Silencer and Cover for 2" Hitch Receivers # 63080 to go with this receiver. I've attached a video of this product to assist. I also recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Trailer Hitches...

  • Recommended 7-Way Harness for 1995 GMC Sierra
  • We do have what you need to install a fully functional 7-Way connector on your 1995 GMC Sierra, however there is not a plug and play 7-Way option similar to the 4-Way Harness # 118315 available for your truck. If you do not yet have a connector installed on the Sierra, you will actually want to start with the mentioned Tekonsha T-One Harness # 118315. This will plug into a factory port under the truck on the driver side. Once installed, I recommend using the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7...

  • Helper Spring Recommendation for 1996 GMC Sierra K2500 Carrying Truck Bed Camper
  • When installed on an unloaded vehicle (no load in bed) there will be an approximately 1/2 to 1 inch gap between the Timbren Aeon spring and the axle tube. Once the bed is loaded with cargo or a slide-in camper, this gap will be taken up and the spring would be in direct contact with the axle tube. The Timbren # TUR350 you looked at isn't the correct fit for your 1996 K2500, you'll want to use # TGMRCK25 instead. The springs won't provide any lift, but will definitely provide up to 6000...
