I recommend using the Solera 18V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC434730 on your 2010 Forest River Surveyor as this is the easiest kit to upgrade your camper to power awing. It uses a rechargeable battery pack that is located inside the front arm which means you do not have to run any additional wiring to operate your awing. The battery pack will allow you to operate your awing 22-25 times before needing charged. To charge the battery you only need plug the included charger into the connection... view full answer...
The Curt hitch part # 13703 can fit basically all frame designs that are between 22 and 72 inches apart so it will work great for your 2018 Surveyor 247BHDS by Forest River.
You should note that Kuat does not offer any of their bike racks as fits for travel trailer applications so you'd need a 4 bike rack like the Yakima LongHaul part # Y02476 which is as the ride quality at the rear of an RV is quite a bit rougher than a vehicle. view full answer...
The Atwood RV Water Heater # AT96110 is the water heater itself and the internal 6 gallon tank. This particular model runs off propane. I have included a link to all of the water heaters. view full answer...
For your 2017 Forest River Surveyor 251RKS that is prewired for a backup camera the kit you'd want is the part # FOS43TASF since it comes with the style of mount that your vehicle is designed to work with. There are videos on how to do this install on YouTube but we have not had the chance yet so I don't have a video I can send you from our site. view full answer...
I think what you are meaning by "centerline" is a 16 foot measurement as taken from the center of the mounting arm to the center of the opposed mounting arm. The Solera 18V Power RV Awning, 16' Wide, # LC729486 requires 69" of open vertical space on the wall of your RV for installation; this is measured from awning rail straight down and needed for installation of wall-mounted brackets. The canopy fabric, when fully extended, is 15' 1" wide x 8' long.
An awning rail # LC715217 is needed... view full answer...
To use a roof top tent like the Yakima SkyRise HD Tent # Y07437 on your CX Truck Cap that only has tracks, you would need to add crossbars. The A.R.E toppers use either Yakima or Thule tracks. Both of those would be compatible with the Replacement Yakima Control Tower # Y8890027 (you would need to get 4), the Landing Pad 1 for Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers # Y00221 (you would need to get 2) and the Round 66" CrossBars for Yakima Roof Rack System # Y00410. view full answer...
With the information that you provided it would not be a weight issue.
After doing some research it could be a few things. First you need to make sure that you're inflating your tires to the maximum PSI, If tires are underinflated, the tires can wear on the inside rather than evenly around the tread.
Another option could be that your trailer suspension is not perfectly squared or the axle isn't straight and the tries can reflect by wearing unevenly, and finally I would check the hub.... view full answer...
Weight distribution systems are recommended based on tongue weight which is typically 10% - 15% of the trailer's total weight. This would put your tongue weight somewhere between 800 lbs and 1,200 lbs. 777 lbs seems awful low but I have a system that will cover that entire range for your Surveyor 295QBLE travel trailer. I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control item # EQ37120ET.
This system has built in 4-point sway control that will keep your trailer... view full answer...
You are on the money with the replacement circuit board you need for your MaxxAir 10-4301K, which is the following:
- Replacement Printed Circuit Board and Switch for MaxxFan Roof Vents # MA10-04301k-v16
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look. view full answer...
The closest grease cap we have to the size you mentioned would be the Fulton part # F001503 which fits an inner hub bore diameter of 1.786 inches. This is a little smaller than 1-7/8 inch so I would recommend using a caliper like the part # PTW80157 to verify this. view full answer...
There are three zippers to open up two panels at both the rear and the middle of the passenger's side for the Adco AquaShed that fits your 2016 2016 Forest River Surveyor 226RBDS travel trailer, which is the following:
- Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Travel Trailer # 290-52243
The '16 Surveyor 226RBDS has a door at the rear on the passenger's side, so you will be able to easily open up the cover and access it with the AquaShed on if you want to gain entry.
The AquaShed # 290-52243 is... view full answer...
I recommend the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469 to replace your brakes on your 2009 Forest River Surveyor SV291 with your 3,500lb axle. These brakes will automatically adjust as they wear to ensure longer life and better more even braking. view full answer...
The single step RV steps do have smaller mounting dimensions so if you are wanting to go with a double step to replace what you have what you'd need is the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Steps # LC432682 which is a double step that has a foot plate that provides solid traction. Since the mounting brackets of your RV are going to be too small you'll need outriggers too to go with this as part # LC301704 and you'll be set. view full answer...
The specs I'm seeing for a 2018 Forest River Surveyor 251 RKS show it being over 29' so I first recommend measuring your trailer and ensuring you are choosing the correct sized cover. The Adco SFS Aquashed Cover # 290-52243 is best for moderate climates so you'll want the Adco Polypropylene Cover # 290-74845 instead. It is rated for all climates and the heavy-duty, 4-layer fabric protects against UV rays, dirt, wind, and snow. The slip-seam strap system ensures snug fit and prevents damage... view full answer...
For your 2016 Forest River Surveyor I am going to recommend the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66084. As you did not list your exact model I checked the models with your dry weight and I believe that you either have a 285IKDS(713lbs tongue weight) or 32RKDS(849lbs tongue weight). The tongue weight is the important number to consider when selecting your weight distribution hitch. The Reese Straight-Line that I recommend is compatible with tongue weights from 700-1200lbs.... view full answer...
To replace your Tru-Ryde RVD-H-545 hub and drum assembly you need the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3.5K Axles # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. This isn't the exact same brand but all of the bearings and seals match so it will be a direct replacement for what you have. view full answer...
For a protective cover for your roof vents I recommend the MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover w/ EZClip - Black # MA86JR. This is cover uses a high-density polyethylene construction that is UV resistant and will also protect your roof vent from rain and other debris.
If you have a MaxxFan this is a no drill installation but it can be used on other vents as well with some drilling. This cover also uses EZClip pins which allow you to easily open or remove the cover for maintenance.... view full answer...
Manufacturers do not list the vents they use for their RV's so since I do not know whether your model is a Ventline, MaxxAir, etc. I recommend using the Replacement Lid for Jensen, Ventline, Elixir, and Ventadome RV Roof Vents # A10-3375 which has brackets to make it compatible with every brand.
I also recommend the MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover w/ EZClip # MA86JR which will allow you use your vent during any weather and also while driving unlike standard roof vent cover models. view full answer...
