It will give you more margin for loading the trailer heavier as well as placing more stuff in the truck bed. I was able to use this and determine that you need the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA and the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K (2) to replace the brakes on your trailer. There is not really a standard hose length that is needed to connect a propane tank to a propane regulator as it will all just depend on where you mount the regulator.
