Is the issue possibly on the trailer's wiring? Use a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to test the pins of the 4-way for voltage and see if the trailer wiring or the vehicle wiring is the problem. Sometimes it's just a weak ground on the trailer wiring which you can improve by checking the main ground wire connection from the 4-way to the trailer frame. Sometimes it's just that the connectors of the trailer wiring need to be unplugged and plugged back in. view full answer...
There isn't a brake controller harness under the dash of your 2017 Ford Transit T350. However we can help you wire in a brake controller to the 7-way you have at the rear of your vehicle.
First let's start with a brake controller. I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to set up.
Next, for a wiring kit to install the brake controller to the 7-way you would want the Wiring... view full answer...
For your 2018 camper van on the Ford Transit 350HD having the dual wheel wheels I recommend installing the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-121-54. These will help to reduce the rear end sag and increase stability around turns. The Firestone # F53ZR and other air spring products we carry are not compatible with your dual rear wheels.
You can also add the Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1195F to your front suspension. These will also help increase stability when turning while also helping... view full answer...
I am on the Rhino-Rack website and they show 40 bars, the longest of which is 71 inches or 1800mm. To be clear, this is the Rhino-Rack US site which has the parts we can get. If you are on Rhino-Rack of Australia or another country then we cannot get those parts but we are trying to get them added.
If you have a 2016 Ford Transit T350 then the recommended Rhino-Rack heavy duty bar length is 71 inches. The recommended leg kit to complete the roof rack is # RRRLTPFC-2. I have included a... view full answer...
I am not sure what year the chassis is but if it's anywhere between 1991-2007 then you can use the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 33055 which is a fit for a E-450 Cutaway Chassis. Then for the rear, you wouldn't have any direct bolt-on options but the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch part # 41990-16 could be welded-on or bolted once drilled.
The most amount of bikes we offer for a single rack is six, the Yakima HangOver 6 Bike Rack part # Y02485 which would... view full answer...
The highest capacity trailer hitch for your 2018 Ford Transit T350 is the Curt Class IV part # C14012 which has an 8,000 lb trailer towing capacity without WD and then 10,000 with WD.
You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # HM11140244.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached... view full answer...
From what I understand your 2015 Ford Trasit T-350 has a connector on the back for use with trailers that looks similar to the Custer Trailer Connector part # KIT-7P-4 and you have added an adapter similar to 7-Pole Round Pin to 4-Flat Adapter part # 47405 to plug your 4-way flat trailer plug into and you are getting no power to the lights at all.
This sounds like a pretty common issue we run into often.
That being the ground wire. This could have been damaged or has corroded at the connection... view full answer...
For your 2017 RV 350 Transit 350HD, I recommend the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13701. This hitch is adjustable and able to be trimmed flush to the mounting brackets. This hitch is a bolt on installation and is rated for 500 lb tongue weight and up to 5000 lb towing capacity.
There is not a custom fit bolt on option for the RV models. view full answer...
I would be happy to recommend everything you will need to add a trailer hitch receiver, 7-way trailer connector, and trailer brake controller to your 2016 Ford Transit T350 with the extended wheel base and high top conversion.
Starting with the trailer hitch receiver I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98842 which has a 900lb tongue weight rating and 6000lb trailer weight rating. If you use a weight distribution system the... view full answer...
The etrailer hitch part # e98842 does fit your 2020 Ford Transit T350HD as we've had customers with this exact setup let us know that it fit well.
Then for trailer wiring the Curt # C56327 that you referenced is a confirmed fit and would work well too. view full answer...
I recommend using the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2603 to help support most of the weight on the leaf springs of your 2017 Winnebago Fuse 23A Motorhome. These air springs are adjustable allowing you to be able to adjust the air pressure for the best ride quality. With the air spring mounted between your leaf spring an the frame of your Ford Transit chassis it will help to raise the chassis back up to its normal ride height before all the weight was added by Winnebago. I wish we had a solution that covered everything you are looking for but the best option would be the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Rack w/ Cargo Carrier for 2 Bikes # HR1450Z-85 which is a hitch mounted bike rack and cargo carrier that is approved for use at the rear of a motorhome like what you have.
This is not a swing out setup and does not have a ramp and the bike rack is limited to 50 lbs per bike. The OnRamp bike rack can not fit on the EXO system. view full answer...
The only option for a ladder that will attach to the # RR63QX is the # RRRAFL-RUFLB. If you really want to use this ladder you could place some kind of block underneath to make up the difference since it has a fixed point at the top. Realistically that isn't the best idea, especially since you need to gain an additional 8-1/2" and I doubt you will always be on a level surface.
Instead, you may want to consider a telescoping ladder like the # TE37FR. This has a compact design measuring... view full answer...
You're on the right track in my opinion. I'd eliminate the Sumo Springs Solo # SSR-121-54 from consideration because that'd be more support than you'd actually need and would tend to provide a harsher ride than what your looking for.
The SumoSpirings # SSR-121-40 offers 1000 lbs of additional support and the # SSR-121-47 would give 1500 lbs of additional support. The # SSR-121-47 would provide the best compromise between the needed support without making your motorhome ride like a buckboard,... view full answer...
I would be happy to recommend you need to install a Class IV trailer hitch, 7-way connector, and the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 in your 2015 Ford Transit T350HD extended wheel base.
Starting with the trailer hitch receiver the only Class IV trailer hitch we offer is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # C14012 which will fit all models of the 2015 T350 as long as it is not a cab and chassis model.
Moving on to the 7-way connector I recommend the Tekonsha OEM Replacement... view full answer...
There is a fit for your 2017 Ford Transit T350, but the # AL88213 is not a fit. The kit that is confirmed to fit your T350 is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57213. This kit has the same functions as the other kit you referenced, but it does not have the internal jounce springs. This won't be an issue as long as you keep the 5 psi minimum pressure that both systems suggest and don't completely bottom out your factory suspension simultaneously.

Yes, you can start with just a single swing away cargo box with the Yakima Exo Swingaway Gear Locker # Y26VR and then you can add a second box to it with the TopShelf part # Y94VR and second box GearLocker # Y44VR and you'd have everything needed for it to be a two box setup like the # Y74ZR. view full answer...
The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2017 Ford Transit T350 is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98842 which is a direct bolt-on fit with no cutting or drilling required. It comes with hardware and instructions which is everything you will need for installation expect common hand tools.
In order to secure a generator, the 16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray part # TLA7901 is an excellent option which has a lock for security. That said, it wasn't designed specifically... view full answer...
The perfect suspension kit you'd want is the SumoSprings part # SSR-121-54 which is a confirmed fit for the Cutaway chassis models of the 2017 Ford Transit T350 like what the RVs are built on.
