I am a little confused by what you mean. That's a tough one! You have already done everything I would recommend on the trailers side. It is definitely a ground issue and the only thing you have left is the plug end on your truck or the ground wire from the plug to the trucks frame.

I believe you are seeing the 04 low battery alert code which indicates that either the towed car's battery is depleted or that there is another issue such as a dirty 12V power outlet that is not passing enough power. You might clean the pins of the plug and socket. The cigarette lighter outlet that powers the Patriot must output at least 13.1 volts for proper operation.
