  • Towing Mirror for 1998 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition with Turn Signals in the Mirror
  • We have not tested the Custom Towing Mirrors, # CTM2300, on a 1998 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition with turn signals in the mirror. I made a call to my contact at Longview and she said that customers have given feedback that the mirror is a very tight fit but it did work on a mirror with the signals built into the glass. If your mirrors have external signals, I recommend going with a universal mirror like the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror, # KS3891. This mirror fits most mirrors...

  • Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Rack and Folding Ladder for 2018 Ford Expedition
  • There is a way to add a Rhino Rack Platform to your 2018 Ford Expedition but there is not one that attaches directly to your vehicle. If your Expedition has factory installed rails that run front to back you can add a roof rack, the Rhino-Rack Vortex StealthBar # JB0190. From there you can add the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform # RR42115BF which is a universal mount that will attach to your Expedition's roof rack. I've attached a link to a video review of the universal mount Pioneer for you...

  • Will 2 Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier Fit 2004 Ford Expedition w/ Factory Roof Rack
  • The Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # S512-S512X will install on your 2004 Ford Expedition OEM crossbars just fine without adapters. Each set will take up roughly 20" of your roof rack (since you can have overhang with the outer cradles) so as long as you have at least 40" of crossbars space (which I believe you should have) you'll be able to use 2 of these on your Expedition.

  • Is 2" Difference in Trailer Coupler Height Okay for Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution
  • Thanks for reaching out! The biggest difference between hitch receiver height and trailer coupler height is 1", so for your application I do recommend using the 9-hole shank # BXW4002 so you can get to that level setup. Keeping the trailer level is the best way to get the best tracking and towing performance from your trailer which is why I recommend going this route instead of being a little nose-high for your trailer tongue. Attached is a review video for you to check out.

  • Recommended Extension Mirrors for a 2009 Ford Expedition
  • For a set of extension mirrors that may work for your 2009 Ford Expedition, I recommend using the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror part # KS3891. As long as your factory side mirrors are between 4-1/2" to 11-1/2" tall and have an outer lip around the edge of the mirror, they will work well for you. You will need one mirror for each side of the vehicle. We do not have a set of towing mirrors that are confirmed to fit your vehicle at this time.

  • What All is Needed to Add an EZ Connector to a 2012 Expedition and Trailer?
  • Switching over to the EZ Connector Magnetic 7-Way # 319-R7-01 will lose the 4 flat connection. However, I do have a couple solutions for you. First will be the Trailer Connector Adapter # 319-R7-54. This will adapt a standard 4 flat to work with the # 319-R7-01. If you preferred to keep a 4 flat plug, it will be a little more complicated, but not overly so. To do this, you will need to splice a 4 flat, like the Curt # C58345, either into the # 319-R7-01 at some point, or where the #...

  • Can The Pack-Em Ladder Rack Bracket Kit Be Installed on a Trailer with a Flat Top and Rain Gutter
  • The Pack-Em Ladder Rack Bracket Kit can be mounted on a trailer with a flat top and a rain gutter. You will want to make sure that the bracket is mounted to the header on your trailer. This header will provide additional support for the ladder rack. The brackets should be tall enough to not interfere with your rain gutters. I have included an installation video of a very similar rack system on a trailer. In this video modifications were needed, and this might be the same for your particular...

  • Will the SuperSprings Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1094F Fit a 2014 Ford Expedition
  • The SuperSprings Coil SumoSprings, # CSS-1094F, will fit your 2014 Ford Expedition as long as it is a 4WD model, however, they were not designed to raise the normal ride height of your SUV. These springs will reduce the sag of your front suspension when it is under a load such as installing a snowplow or a heavy grille guard. We do not have any items that will raise the normal ride height of your Expedition.

  • Brake Controller Installation on a 2007 Ford Expedition with Factory 4-Way Wiring Harness
  • In order to install a brake controller on your 2007 Ford Expedition you will want to use the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole part # 37185 as this will give you both 4 and 7 way connection points on the rear of your vehicle. The rest of the wires needed to install a brake controller should already be present. When you do decide to purchase a brake controller, I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 as this is one of our most popular and best selling...

  • Rear Suspension Kit for 2017 Ford Expedition EL
  • SuperSprings' Coil Helper Spring kit # CSS-1168R will fit rear coil springs that have a coil spacing of 1.68-inches between the top of one turn and the bottom of the turn above it when the suspension is hanging freely (with the rear of the frame resting on jack stands). It is the only aftermarket rear suspension kit we offer for your 2017 Expedition EL. If your rear coils have this turn spacing it may fit but you'll also want to confirm that the coil diameter is also compatible. If you...

  • Can I Use the Curt Venturer Trailer Brake Controller in my 2011 Ford Expedition
  • Yes, the Curt Venturer Trailer Brake Controller, # C74VV, will work on your 2011 Ford Expedition. In addition to the controller, you will need the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter, # C51322. This plug-in wiring adapter allows for quick and easy installation. As long as your Expedition is equipped with a factory 7-way, just mount the brake controller up under the dash, plug one end of the harness into the controller and the other end into the port up under the dash, and you are ready to go. If...

  • Recommended Upgradeable Weight Distribution Hitch for Flagstaff E-Pro
  • The Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 7-Hole Shank - 6K GTW, 600 lbs TW # BLU36FR would be perfect for your Flagstaff E-Pro #15TB. With a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs your trailer should fall nicely in the middle even when loaded. Keep in mind, the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle is included in your tongue weight. The # BLU36FR uses a hitch ball with a 1-1/4" diameter shank. You can use something like the Curt 2-5/16" Hitch Ball...

  • Tekonsha Brake Controller Installation in 2011 Ford Expedition With Factory 7-Way Connector
  • Brake controllers such as the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 and the P3 # 90195 are not vehicle-specific so either will work fine in your 2011 Ford Expedition with factory 7-Way connector. Both will use the same wiring adapter # 3035-P to connect to the under-dash port on your Expedition. Installation videos for both controllers are linked for your reference.

  • Custom Slide-On Mirrors for 2007 Ford Expedition Max
  • For your 2007 Expedition, I would recommend a universal clip on mirror like the K-Source # KS3891 or the CIPA Door Mount Mirror, part # 11650. For occasional use, the clip on mirror would be a great choice, the ratcheting straps allow it to be tightly connected to the mirror. For more frequent use, the CIPA Door Mount Mirror is your best bet. The ratcheting strap mounting system provides a secure connection with minimal vibration. There is unfortunately not a custom slip-on mirror option...

  • Are There Bronze Leaf Spring Bushings 3/4" OD x 9/16" ID
  • I do have an option for you although we don't have any bronze bushings in the size you listed. That said, we do offer nylon bushings which measures 3/4" O.D. x 9/16" I.D. x 1-3/4" Long part # SP05-060. These can then be used with the Shackle Bolt with Locknut for Double-Eye Springs part # 166081. This would still be a great improvement to the trailer allowing for easy maintenance.

  • Can You Use a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform to Mount an Awning?
  • I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, the Batwing and Foxwing Hardware Kit for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars # RR33101 is customized to fit the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awnings as well as the Rhino-Rack Foxwing Awnings. The bolts specially fit the bracket that mounts those two awnings to a Rhino-Rack pioneer platform which is part # RR43259. If you have your own awning that you wish to attach to a Rhino-Rack Pioneer platform, you will need to modify the brackets in order to make it fit....
