For your 2004 Ford Crown Victoria, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13707 is a great option to get you started. Then you will need to get a weight distribution system like # FA92-00-0800 for your trailer to allow that weight to be carried by your hitch. You will not be able to carry more than 600 lbs total tongue weight which includes the loaded tongue weight of your trailer and any cargo behind the rear axle of your car. I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13707 for your 2001 Ford Crown Victoria will not have the capacity you are seeking. It is only rated for 400 lbs tongue weight for this type of application so your bike and the carrier will far surpass its capacity. I recommend using a trailer along with this hitch to protect your bike as a carrier will not work with your vehicle.
For your wiring, I recommend the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole... view full answer...
There are two air springs we carry for your 1999 Ford Crown Victoria. They are the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle, # F4107, and the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear, # AL60798. Both of these spring options will give you additional support to your factory suspension and both have a 1,000 lb load leveling capacity rating.

For your 2011 Ford Crown Victoria we have universal trailer wiring harnesses that are a fit, but not the part # C55326 that you mentioned.
The best solution is the part # 119250KIT which installs without requiring any splicing into the vehicle wiring. Or for a lower cost option that would be a bit more involved to install we have the part # C59496. view full answer...
First you will need to verify the towing capacities of the 2009 Ford Crown Vic by checking the owners manual. If you already have a trailer hitch then make sure it is rated for use with weight distribution. There should be a sticker on the hitch that lists the capacities using weight distribution if the hitch is compatible. If it is not then you would want to add a different hitch such as # 13707.
This hitch is rated for 400 pounds tongue weight and 4,000 pounds gross trailer weight or... view full answer...
For your 2003 Ford Crown Victoria I recommend the Curt hitch # 13707. This is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver rated for 400 pounds tongue weight and 4,000 pounds gross trailer weight so it covers the capacity of the vehicle.
Because your Crown Vic has dual exhaust there is some slight modification to the exhaust that will be needed to install this or any hitch for the vehicle. Its actually not all that difficult and I have included a link to a video showing an example installation... view full answer...
With a Crown Victoria, there will be enough weight pressing down on the front tires that you should not need them up front. But, since the Crown Vic is a rear-wheel drive car, you will most definitely need them on the rear tires.

I'd recommend using a powered converter due to the circuit protection it'd offer to the wiring of your car. The # 119178KIT would be an excellent choice.

The Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41116 is a great option for a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria and what I recommend using. It will fit models with dual exhaust. There are extra steps in the instructions for for fitment on these models. view full answer...
The Draw Tite hitch part # 41116 is a confirmed fit for your 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis. For a ball mount you'd need the part # 36063, for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball part # 19257, for 2 inch ball part # 19258, then for trailer wiring # C59236. view full answer...
The only solution we have for you that would give you additional power and a more aggressive exhaust tone is going to be the MagnaFlow Cat-Back system part # MF16788 which is confirmed as a fit for your 2008 Ford Crown Victoria with a 4.7 liter V8.
Adding the part # MF35212 to your current setup will lengthen the exhaust but it would not make it any louder. view full answer...
For your 2003 Ford Crown Victoria you can use Hopkins trailer wiring harness # 46255. There isn't a T-connector that just plugs into the taillight wiring available for your vehicle so you will need to use this hardwire harness.
You will also need a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to test the vehicle tail light wiring. On the harness yellow is left turn signal, green is right turn signal, red is brake lights, brown is running lights, and white is ground.

I wish I could tell you which specific wire color you'd need to find on your 2011 Ford Crown Victoria but we haven't had the chance to install a brake controller on it so what you'll need to do is use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires that lead to the brake switch till you find the circuit that only has voltage when the brakes are applied. That's what you'll use to connect to the red wire of your brake controller.
I attached a help article on installing brake... view full answer...
The only option we have for trailer wiring for your 2004 Ford Crown Victoria is a hardwire option like part # 46255.
Or if you didn't want to splice any wires into your vehicle taillights you could use the zero contact kit part # 119250KIT that uses sensors to detect the vehicle taillight wiring instead of having to splice into them. You will still need to run a power wire up to the vehicle battery though. view full answer...
The brake controller that we recommend the most is the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885. This proportional brake controller is one of our best selling brake controllers because of how easy it is to use and how well it works.
A 7-way will have to be installed in order for the brake controller to be functional. But before you install a 7-way you will need a 4-way.
For a 4-way you will need a Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Kit # 119179KIT. I attached installation instructions... view full answer...

First, you are going to want to make sure that the hitch is rated for use with weight distribution. Not all hitches are. There should be a sticker on the hitch that will indicate its capacity when using weight distribution. You have to do the same for the vehicle by consulting the owners manual.
If you need a hitch that is rated for weight distribution you can use # 13707. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation and a link to the instructions.

I did not know that having a sagging back end was cause to be pulled over. I know that some areas do have restrictions on how far off the pavement a vehicle can be. So first lets look at why the vehicle is sagging. If there is nothing in the trunk or back of the vehicle to weigh it down, and you have not modified it (like cutting the springs or used a lowering kit) then there is probably a problem with the suspension.
If your 2000 Ford Crown Victoria uses rear air shocks, that could be... view full answer...
