The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit # RM82MR uses rollers on the slipper springs to reduce the noisy ride you have heard about. I know some people think they should grease the spring but his typically leads to dirt and other contaminates sticking to the parts which can cause more noise. If you do hear a lot of noise you can try some Dry Lube # RM-747 on the suspension to help reduce the friction on the metal to metal components. view full answer...
Yes, based on the model number you have listed it most likely is a 50 to 30 amp adapter, but I don't know if that's 50 amp male and 30 amp female without seeing it. 50 amp male connectors will have 4-prongs and 30 amp female connectors will have 3 prong ports with the positive and neutral ports slanted to a point. If you cord looks just like the Camco Power Grip RV Power Cord Adapter w/ Handles - 125V - 30 Amp Female to 50 Amp Male # CAM55175 then it is indeed a 50 amp male to 30 amp female... view full answer...
The Roadmaster tow dolly # RM-2050-1 does have a license plate bracket but the rules for what needs to be licensed and registered is going to depend on the state you are in. You will need to call your local DMV to inquire. Most likely it will NOT have to be licensed and registered like a trailer. view full answer...
The typical installation of the Erickson Horizontal E-Track, part # E19148 is by installing bolts or screws through the mounting holes on the track system.
It can be welded, but specific precautions should be used when doing so as this is a zinc-coated steel and welding produces dangerous fumes. It should always be done in a ventilated area.
In my research I found that the zinc coating has a lower melting point at 1,600 degrees F versus steel at 2,800 degrees F, and if not removed before... view full answer...

To initially adjust the brakes, you will need to raise the trailer and secure it on adequate capacity jack stands. Check that the wheel and drum rotate freely. Do not lift or support trailer on any part of the axle or the suspension system. Remove the adjusting hole cover from the adjusting slot on the bottom of the brake backing plate. With a screwdriver or standard adjusting tool like part # W80630, rotate the starwheel of the adjuster assembly to expand the brake shoes. Adjust the brake... view full answer...

There is a 12 volt water heater (which the G6A-8E is) that you can replace the G6A-8E with, but there will be modifications needed, particularly the access door, since yours has a large 18" x 14" door. What you can use as a replacement is a tankless option from Furrion:
- Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR98SR
The # FR98SR measures 12-5/8" tall x 12-5/8" wide x 19-1/4" deep so it is similar to the 12-1/2" tall x 16" wide x 18" deep measurements of your Atwood. The door is 16-1/8" tall... view full answer...
From what you describe, it sounds like your trailer originally had hydraulic brakes that have been replaced with electric brakes. At this point, your hydraulic coupler which is also known as a surge coupler is strictly being used as a way to attach the trailer to the trailer ball. This arrangement works just fine as long as a cross bolt has been installed to prevent the coupler from being compressed.
You won't need to use the mechanical breakaway, as it'll be inoperable anyway. view full answer...

Not necessarily. While it's likely because the most common 5-bolt wheel pattern for trailer wheels is 5 on 4-1/2" you definitely want to measure to be sure you can go from your 4.80-8 with a 5-bolt wheel to a 4.80-12 with a 5-bolt wheel like the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # AM30660.
I have added links below which detail how to measure your bolt pattern as well as a printable bolt hole template if you find that easier. view full answer...
