On your 2001 Dodge 1500 Van, there is not a custom wiring harness for a brake controller, so it will need to be hardwired. For this wiring, I recommend the Draw-Tite # 5506 brake controller wiring. This kit will give you the wiring and connectors you need as well as the circuit breakers. I've attached some videos and articles to assist including our installation instructions for our # ETBC7 kit that the # 5506 is a portion of.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy... view full answer...
A bumper labeled as Alumi-X would most likely have at least some percentage of aluminum in its construction. The Swagman 4 bike rack, # S80600, is only meant for a welded steel bumper so I cannot say that it will work on an Alumi-X bumper.
What I recommend is a trailer hitch and hitch mount bike rack. To add a trailer hitch to your RV, I recommend # 13703. This hitch fits box frames, I-beam frames, and C-Channel frames. It can be welded or bolted on, but any welding should be performed... view full answer...
There are no front mount trailer hitches that will fit the 1999 Dodge Full-Size vans. They are not built on the same platform as the Ram trucks of the same generation so the front mount hitches for the Ram trucks will not fit the Ram Vans.
You can install a rear trailer hitch. If your van has the standard bumper then you can use # 13015 (Hitch will not work on models with existing weldnuts on the frame). And if it has the factory step bumper use # 13590. view full answer...
Because an RV has a greater distance between the rear axle and the back bumper than is typically found on a passenger vehicle or SUV, anything attached to the rear of the vehicle will experience additional shaking and bouncing. (Remember riding in the back seat of the school bus?) Because of this, only certain bike racks are recommended for use on the rear of RVs, because they have been designed to withstand these additional bouncing and jarring forces.

Let's start with the hitch. For that the part # 41533 would be a fit and would be your best option.
The cargo carrier part # e98874 is also going to be the best option for a carrier as well since it has such a large distance from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest rail of the carrier at 19-1/2 inches. It would need 9-1/2 inches to clear when folded up.
That spare sticking out so far is going to prevent basically any carrier from folding up as the carriers do need quite a... view full answer...
For your friend's 2003 Dodge 1500 Conversion Van, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75140 is a great option that will fit well. The plastic components on those conversion vans are mostly on the front, sides, and wheel wells. It really doesn't utilize anything other than the standard rear bumper which this hitch will fit very well.
If you will be towing with this hitch, I recommend the Tekonsha 4-Pole Hardwire Kit with Circuit Tester # 18252 which also includes the quick splice connections.

The LED Porch and Utility Light for RVs part # DG52724VP has a ribbed lens that is designed to project light at a downward angle which you can see in the attached photo. The light will not project straight down but rather at an angle, downward and outward. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide any specifications on this angle but I feel the attached photo does a really good job demonstrating this angle.
I have also attached a review video for you which shows the light in action... view full answer...
Some of the measurements of the Curt hitch, part # C13097, were a little tricky because the mounting holes towards the rear of the vehicle are not level with the holes towards the front. The easiest, the size of the receiver tube top to bottom, is 3 inches.
From the top of the mounting holes closest to the rear of the vehicle to the bottom of the receiver are 7-1/4 inches. Those same holes to the top of the receiver tube is about 4 inches.

We have everything you need to install a trailer brake controller on your 1995 Dodge 3500 Van.
First, if you do not yet have any type of trailer connector at the rear of the van, you will need to start with a 4-Way connector by installing the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector
Item # C59236. This custom harness will install by plugging directly the existing port located under the vehicle, on the passenger side.
I have attached the written installation... view full answer...
The 2001 Dodge Vans like your 1500 do not have a brake controller install port under the dash. You will have to hardwire the controller to your vehicle that has a 7-way already.
for a wiring kit to install the brake controller and the 7-way adapter you would want the Wiring Kit For 2 and 4 Brake Electric Brake Controllers # 5506. This will provide the power source and ground for the wiring for the brake controller. You will need to test the wires from the brake pedal switch of your vehicle... view full answer...
I spoke to my contacts at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit a camper van like yours are multi-fit hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916. view full answer...
There is not a custom fit running board fit for your 1994 Dodge Ram Roadtrek Conversion Van. My recommendation is to use a wider step like the Carr Custom-Fit Side Step - Super Hoop - Black Powder Coated Aluminum - 17" Step - Qty 1 # CARR124031-1. These are the only style I can see based on my research that are a fit. I checked around and none of our manufacturers have a direct fit running board for your van so that is the route I'd go. view full answer...
The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1129-111 is a fit for a 1996 Dodge Roadtrek with or without water tanks to the best of my knowledge. That said, these water tanks may have to be removed for installation but only temporarily to get the anti-sway bar in place so this is still an option for you.
If you want to go with the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS4612-DV this would work as well but it will also stiffen the rear suspension as would any... view full answer...
Roadmaster anti-sway bar # RM-1129-111 is designed to fit the 1990 Dodge B250 Class C RV Cutaway models. It sounds like that is what you have so this is the correct anti-sway bar. Drilling is required to install this anti-sway bar. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
The picture on the product page is just a generic one of a sway bar on a vehicle and is not the same as the one that will go on your RV. view full answer...
Without knowing what you mean by European taillights or seeing pictures it's pretty hard for me to recommend you the correct replacement lens.
The best solution I can provide for you would be to check out the link I attached to the right that has all of the replacement lenses we offer.
There is an off-chance that you may be looking for the part # 34-84-700 or the # 34-85-750. view full answer...

Yes, the Draw-Tite class III part # 75140 Trailer Hitch will fit your Dodge van. I went out to our warehouse and measured the mounting holes and they are 40 inches apart, measured on center.
To complete your towing set-up, you might need the following:

Sorry but I am not seeing anything in our inventory that fits that description. Our replacement domes like the FanTastic RV Roof Vents item # FVK1020-19 are organized by the part number of the vent assembly they go with. If you could find a part number on your vent assembly I would be happy to try to find a replacement lid. Feel free to email me directly or comment below. I hope to hear from you. view full answer...
If you're only wanting to replace the converter and your unit is a Parallax/Magnetek then you can simply swap out the converter section with part # PD4645V. If you're looking to replace the entire power center then you would need the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4045KA. Installation isn't hard, but you are working on things that could potentially harm you or your trailer if installed incorrectly so if you wouldn't feel... view full answer...
