  • Replacement For 24 Inch 3,500 lb Leaf Springs & Equalizer Upgrade
  • Thanks so much for that info, and to replace your current leaf springs that are 24 inches apart from center eye to center eye, you want springs that are slightly shorter because over time they flatten out. So for replacements I recommend 23-1/8" long springs: - 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 23-1/8" Long # e59SR Then to replace your equalizer with a MORryde equalizer, you'll want to measure your axle from center to center, which will be your wheelbase, and the correct...

  • Fit of Curt #12064 on Challenger SXT V6 2015
  • I spoke with my Curt representative about the fit of their # C12064 Class II hitch on a 2015 Dodge Challenger. Although they don't have any photos available (we don't either), I was told that although there were cosmetic changes made to the rear of the 2015 Challenger, the fit itself hasn't changed. The hitch will fit without needing to alter the rear bumper fascia.

  • Will the Trailer Hitch for a 2019 Dodge Challenger Work with Aftermarket Exhaust
  • In order to install a trailer hitch on a 2019 Dodge Challenger with aftermarket exhaust, the best option we have for you is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13236 not the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76145. The Curt hitch as you can see has a smaller bracket profile than the Draw-Tite hitch so there will be a better chance of compatibility. That said, there would not be a way to confirm fit as none of the trailer hitch manufactures do any test fitting with...

  • What is the Height of the Draw-Tite # 76145 on a 2016 Dodge Challenger for Choosing a Ball Mount
  • When we installed the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76145 on a 2018 Dodge Challenger we found that from the ground to the top of the inside of the receiver measured 9-1/4" as you can see in the attached photo. It might be a little different for your 2016 Challenger but this should give you a ballpark idea of what you need. You will also need the T-One # 118656 wiring and a ball mount to tow. I have also attached an installation video for you to reference as well as a link...

  • Recommended Winch to Replace Older Fulton 945 for Use on a Boat Lift
  • I spoke with Fulton and parts are no longer available for the Fulton 945. That's a pretty old winch. For a new similar replacement they suggest # F143100. A 1,500 pound capacity winch that's designed to be used in marine applications.

  • Will the Magnaflow Cat-Back part # MF15123 Cause Issues with the MDS Of a 2013 Dodge Challenger
  • I think the dealer you are dealing with is trying to get out of fixing the real problem of your car. The MDS or fuel saver mode on your car is not based on back pressure or the EGR valve, it is based on engine load, throttle position and speed. From the research I've done the MDS systems on these cars is kind of notorious for behaving strangely. Also, there are a ton of other Challenger owners out there with aftermarket cat-back systems that did not cause any problems with the MDS system...

  • Bike Rack to Carry 1 Bike on a 2010 Dodge Challenger RT
  • One of the best single bike rack we have is the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # RKY87RR, which is a hitch mounted bike rack. This is a platform rack that secures to the wheel of the bike, as well as integrated hitch and bike locks for maximum security of the bike. If you don't already have a hitch installed, I recommend Curt's Class III hitch, part # 13456 which is compatible with vehicles with and without the quad exhaust. I've...

  • How Much Clearance From Hitch Pin Hole on Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver.
  • You will want to measure the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper. The Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter # PH54FR has 3-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the angled brace for the shank, so you're going to need at least that distance from your bumper to the hitch pin hole. Since this doesn't come with any security features, I do recommend adding a hitch lock like the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span...

  • Recommended Hitch for a Bike Rack on a 2010 Dodge Challenger
  • I have a solution for you but the Curt Trailer Hitch item # 13465 will not give you enough clearance to mount the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes item # SH22B. The hitch pin hole sits too far underneath your car when installed. Instead you will want the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch item # 76145. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Challenger with included hardware. The hitch pin hole sits 6" from the edge of your bumper and the closest part of the Sherpa 2.0 when folded up is...

  • How Visible is Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2017 Dodge Challenger
  • Unfortunately, we haven't had the chance to install the Draw-Tite # 36548 on a Dodge Challenger and the submitted photos are all older than what you're looking for. With that being said, the look of the hitch on your 2017 probably won't be a lot different. The receiver tube comes straight out of the cross beam so it will likely still be pretty visible under the rear bumper like in the picture.

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver and 4-Way Wiring Confirmed to Fit a 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
  • The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12064 is currently the only receiver we have confirmed to fit the SRT Demon for your 2018 Dodge Challenger. This is a class II receiver as the larger class III receivers will not fit the SRT Demon trim. The receiver is rated for up to 3,500lbs trailer weight with up to 350lbs of tongue weight. Be sure to contact your Dodge dealer for your exact towing specifications. You will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118656 to connect to most small trailers...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for an RV Towing a Motorcycle Trailer
  • The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # 13703 is a great option. It's extremely versatile since it can be bolted or welded on and fits C-channel, I-beam, and box frames. It's designed to fit frames from 22 to 72 inches wide. You may want an adjustable ball mount on the RV like the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10037B. This comes with two different sized hitch balls and has a 5 inch drop and 5-1/2 inch rise. You'll will want to check with the DOT in your area and the areas...

  • Troubleshooting Putco 3157 LED Lights on a 2012 Dodge Challenger
  • Since you are experiencing hyper flashing with your LED lights, using a load resistor like # DI34ZR per affected light is correct. However, I would remove the 4 load resistors you added to the rear center lighting. I recommend using the LED load resistor # DI34ZR because it's 50 watts. Replace one first and see if it helps. If it helps the sync problem, then use this load resistor for each light. A load resistor can become hot because it is designed to hold back power. Wrapping them...

  • Trailer Hitch Availability for a 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT
  • Yes, the Curt hitch part # C13093 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT so it would work well for you. It does fit a few Chrysler vehicles though so I can understand the confusion. I attached an install video that shows it getting installed on a similar 2013 Challenger. For trailer wiring you would want the part # 118656. If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts;...

  • Is It Normal for Brake Lights Instead of Turn Signals to Flash When Using Hazards With Converter
  • It is perfectly normal for the brake lights to flash when using the warning lights (hazard lights) after installing the Curt 2-To-3-Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196 on a vehicle like your 2017 Dodge Challenger. There isn't a way to resolve the issue due to how the signals come out of the converter box.

  • What is the Difference Between Curt Hitches # 13093 and # 13465
  • Only the Curt Hitch # 13465 that you referenced would work for your 2010 Dodge Challenger. The other Curt Hitch, part # C13093 that you referenced is designed for 2011 and up Challengers. That is the difference between the two hitches. I attached an installation video for the # C13093 for you to check out also.

  • Does the Curt Hitch # 13465 fit a 2010 Dodge Challenger
  • Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13465 would work well with a Swagman bike rack to carry your mountain bikes and is a fit for your 2010 Dodge Challenger. I am not sure which Swagman bike rack you are considering so I attached a link that has all of the Swagman bike racks we offer. You should note that all non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from CURT. For...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2018 Dodge Challenger
  • The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13236 is a confirmed fit for the 2018 Dodge Challenger, but unfortunately there is not a hitch fit from any of our manufacturers for the bulging frame on the 2018 Widebody Challenger Hellcat. I've linked the page to all the hitch options for your model year, but the Hellcat Widebody is not compatible with any of them.

  • Recommended Towing Setup for 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT
  • For your 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13093. This hitch receiver weighs 39 lbs. I then recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118656 for your trailer wiring. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Dodge Challenger's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to...
