In really rough slow-speed off-road conditions a passive cooler like Derale # D13503 may not get enough air flow through it for it to do its job. I do recommend weight distribution for your truck and trailer. First, the empty weight of the trailer is 4,800 pounds so when loaded and ready to tow it will be over 5,000 pounds. Your 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD is more than capable of towing the weight, but the truck would have to way over 10,000 pounds for it not to follow that 50 percent guideline you have mentioned. The replacement magnet, # BP01-225, fits several different brake assemblies. it fits Dexter 10 x 2-1/4 inch assemblies, Dexter 12 x 2 manual assemblies and 12 x 2 Nev-R-Adjust assemblies, 7K axles.

The bolt pattern that you are describing in the bed of your 2011 Chevrolet 2500HD sounds like a fifth wheel hitch with industry standard 4-bolt base rails. GM stopped using the plug-in style brake controller connectors after 2007 so there will not be a plug-in port for a brake controller adapter on your truck.
