We have had some feedback from customers who had installed the Curt hitch # C94ER on a 2022 Buick Envision and the consensus seems to be that the exhaust needs to lower for the hitch to fit past it. This would be easier than removing the rear bumper and is a pretty standard step for most hitch installs. I'm a little confused about the specific bike rack you're speaking of. Are you speaking of the Saris SuperClamp EX 2, part # SA4025F or the Saris Freedom 2, part # SA4412B? It is possible to wire the Rear View Safety Universal System part # RVS-770619N so that it can come on when driving forward. You'd just want to use the running light circuit as the trigger circuit instead of the reverse light circuit. For a hitch, I'd recommend the Curt Class III, part # C13405 that you'd looked at. This is a partially concealed hitch, the only portion of the hitch that will be visible is the receiver tube and the safety chain loops. So another thing you might try is putting the vehicle in neutral like you mentioned and then with the engine off pressing the start engine button with your foot off of the brake. Yes you can. I pulled up the owners manual of your 2019 Buick Envision and you can flat tow the front wheel drive and the all wheel drive models of the vehicle. Only thing different with the AWD is that you can't dolly tow it. See page 310 of your owners manual for more info. Unfortunately at this point there is not a baseplate that will allow for the adaptive cruise control. I have a solution for you if it is a front wheel drive vehicle, but not if it is an all wheel drive vehicle. If it is front wheel drive, your owners manual states that you can tow it with the front wheels off the ground. I recommend the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes - 4,250 lbs # RM-2050-1. You can definitely use the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 523196-4 with the Adapter # RM-033 so that the base plate kit is compatible with a Blue Ox tow bar, but in all honesty it would be much easier to use the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523196-5 with the Adapter Kit # BX88185 instead because you don't have a whole bar that you need to use as an adapter.

You are on the right track for sure. As far as ease of use and performance the best option for supplemental braking would be the SMI DUO part # SM99251 over the Invisibrake. The DUO is our installers favorite kit as it's the simplest to install of the permanent install kits and works the best while being very reliable.
