Jeff: Hello, everybody this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the replacement 16 and a half inch Namsco wheel cover for 8-Lug wheels for a quantity of one cover. Now this is a nice replacement wheel cover that'll fit over a wheel on the front or rear of your vehicle. You can see it is a nice low profile design, delivers a nice sleek look. It has a 304 Stainless steel construction, which is very sturdy and rustproof, and it has a nice mirror finish. It gives you a nice eye-catching shine on your wheels.
Now they do describe this cover as an eight hand hold design. And what they're talking about is these holes that go around the outside here. There's eight of them. So it's an eight hand hold design.Now the lug caps here that go over the lugs, they are removable. They're just held in by force clips right there or four little tabs and you can just pop those out to access your lugs if you need to.
Now they do use a snap in retention system, just wanted to zoom in to show you in close up a little bit. This ensures that the hubcap won't wobble or fall off, there's no hardware required. You can see all that does is just push onto your steel wheel and hold it into place. Now, one note I do want to mention is you want to make sure when you put this on that you line up the valve stem with this cutout. Right here, you can see how this is cut out in a section that's for your valve stem, where your valve stem goes.
So line that up with the valve stem and then push it on and attach this wheel cover to your wheel and that's cut out so it doesn't do any damage to your valve stem.This is for a quantity of one wheel cover, application we mentioned is for an eight lug front or rear wheel. Wheel diameter on this is 16 and a half inches. Now a couple of notes on this wheel cover, it does not fit Budd wheels or older split rims. Both of those are two old design wheels. The Budd wheels are stud pilot wheels that'll have tapered stud holes, and they use the lug nuts with a matching taper and the split rim wheels are the older design wheel that would have a large split ring around the wheel and it holds the tire to the wheel in case of a blowout.
Both of those again are older designs you don't see much anymore, and these caps will not work on those, but they will work on all the other ones. But that should do it for the review on the replacement 16 and a half inch Namsco wheel cover for 8-Lug wheels.

This hubcap easily snaps into place - no hardware required.These are horrible. they would not fit correctly, and the metal tags bent when trying to put on. Not happy at all with this product.
The quality of the product is "ok" but.... this wheel cover is designed to fit 16" and 16.5" wheels apparently. Well, my wheel is a 16". I could not get the wheel cover on so I went to my local tire dealer who did get it on for me but... it does not fit well. It does not go flush on to the rim. This is probably because it is designed to also fit the bigger 16.5 rim. The fit does not look good and I doubt it will stay attached for very long but it did make the 8 mile trip home. There should be a separate wheel cover for each size - 16 or 16.5". The tire store was not real impressed either with the fit. Basically they said "good luck".
I am extremely happy with my new hubcaps. I could not get them in Canada. Also, the hubcaps were 16.5 and hard to find here. The places I called in Canada told me it would take a year and a half to get.
I called etrailer direct and they had them in stock and shipped them to me immediately. I liked the email they sent with tracking info and I watched it along the way. The customer service was excellent. 2 hubcaps were damaged and etrailer shipped me replacements immediately, no fuss, no back and forth...they took care of me.

Still good…no problems. The Beauty of dealing with etrailer is their great customer support and helpful instructional videos.
The quality of the wheel cover is certainly fair for the price. However that's where my positive experience ends. They are sold to fit 16-16.5 inch wheels. These most certainly do not fit my 16 inch Sprinter wheels and no amount of pounding with a rubber mallet makes them...though it does ruin the retaining ring. If you have a 16.5 inch wheel these may be a good buy, if not, look elsewhere.
Between my motorcycle trailer and RV, I have made many purchases with etrailer.com. All have been what I expected and when I expected them. The business is obviously run by true professionals. The sales team actually follows up after an order.

I have 6 of these on a 1976 GMC Motor home.
the only issue is that the "lugnut covers" do come off if you sideswipe a bush or similar..
overall good product..I wrote a review... forgot to mention that I have 16.5 inch wheels, fit fine.
No problems with etrailer however the product did not fit the wheel perfectly. It was difficult to put on and fell off first day on the road.
Perfect fit. Great communication from the company. Fast delivery. Much less expensive than any other site.
Received my product 2 days after my order was placed. Product was in excellent condition and was exactly what I had ordered. Excellent service. Will definitely use etrailer in the future if needed.
Plastic hubcap fits perfectly.
Took a half hour to figure out that there was a gap in the edge which needed to be located at the top. Otherwise you could not pound it on for love nor money, even after carefully bending the tabs down to try to get it to fit.
The wheel cover was perfect. Now I have to get it dirty to match the 3 others.
It arrived on time. A perfect fit. They have my business.
