Towing or hauling a heavy load can cause rear sag as your factory suspension compresses under the weight of the load. This means that the rear axle is trying to support not only the extra load but also the weight of your vehicle. And because there is less weight on your front axle, your front tires make less contact with the road, which causes problems with traction, steering, and braking. SumoSprings upgrade your vehicle's factory suspension to level your vehicle, improve driving performance, and keep your ride comfortable.
SumoSprings provide progressive load control - the more you load them, the stiffer they become. With a lighter load, the springs will compress easily for soft engagement and a less bumpy ride. The closed-cell urethane material allows for smooth contact between the springs and your vehicle. And the springs act like a shock absorber to dampen road vibration.
The springs can also compress by as much as 80 percent to support a heavy rear load and to help your factory suspension bear up under the load. This evens out the weight, which levels your vehicle and ensures that your front tires are making better contact with the road. A level ride means that you have improved driving control, ensures safe headlight aim, and helps to minimize sway. The springs also support your factory suspension, which helps prevent sagging and reduces bottoming out.
The springs work independently from one another to support each side of your vehicle. This action helps to reduce body roll when you make a sharp turn. This also helps compensate for an off-center load.
These microcellular urethane springs are tough. They resist abrasion, oil, salt, and UV rays that can more quickly wear out other springs, and they perform well in temperatures ranging from -25 F to 200 F (-33 C to 93 C).
SumoSprings compress vertically with minimum expansion to the sides, so they won't be damaged by nearby mechanical parts and they fit safely into tighter spots. And unlike air springs, SumoSprings require no maintenance or adjustment.

No-drill installation.I originally purchased the yellow sumo for additional support when hauling a small trailer or taking trash to the dump so I wouldn’t strain the vehicles suspension that I just replaced . I also never like to see a truck squat . Yellows were too stiff when unloaded so I got these blues sumo and it was a great decision . The ride type is back to original “comfortable” and the sumo still provides great handling when cornering reducing body sway / shock absorbing bumps. A good investment !
These Sumo Springs were easy to install, even for a 70 year old guy. I tow a 7,000lb camper and even tho I have a nice WDH I still had som sag on my Tundra. These helped level it out when towing and got rid of “some” of the bounce. They were really a godsend when I overloaded the bed with about 2,000lbs of pavers. That weight squished the Sumos significantly but the truck drove and rode great. Better and less expensive than air bags.

Very impressed. Stopped the Tacoma lean. Also helped with the trailer. I do use a distribution hitch I bought from etrailer. Just bought the sumo spring for other applications. Those little bitty factory bumps where junk. These help with lean, and off road hard bounce.They are great.

Lean still solved. Help add the trailer hau. USE in conjunction with wd hitch its definitely worked
These have helped keep my 2014 Tacoma level when towing my RV and trailer. Fairly easy to install, reduces sway and minimal trailer squat with heavy loads. Some stiffness unloaded in colder weather but would recommend and install on my next vehicle.
These Sumo springs are just what I needed for my 2012 Nissan Frontier. We (wife and I) have a A-Liner camper. We have recently replaced torsion axle with a more robust one and also went from C range to D range tires. We needed something to reduce the sag of tongue load. I was unsure about which model to choose but after speaking with friendly, knowledgeable Customer service rep I was assured the 610-40 was the proper option. Test drive went extremely well. Only minimal drop in hitch and no adverse change in ride. Very pleased! Simple to install.
Instructions were adequate. installer has to contribute to the outcome with bolt cleaning, match marking axle saddle and finding out "u" bolt torque value.
I think the mount should be radiused where the "u" bolt contacts it as opposed to the square edge. Was unnecessary to jack up truck to get clearance to screw on spring, I put a wood between frame and leaf and raised the box 1/2" with a wedge.
I got the ride height I was looking for, the blue springs are very close to offsetting trailer tounge weight allowing for a bit of takeup with my Andersen hitch.
Barely noticeable change in unloaded rear end stiffness.
Easy to install. One easy hour and did not take tires off.

They do their job and loving it. Im able to put max load 1650 lbs on my Tacoma and there is very little sag. Only a small complaint that has to do with the ride when unloaded. I had lay with the adjustable stock absorberá for a while finally findings a suitable ride. With the SUMOs having no clearence between the frame and the springs when installed, they cause a bumpy ride unless the shocks react very fast to attenuate it.
I added these to my Tacoma. With the GFC camper, Solar panels, Marine battery and refrigerator in the back of the truck and the weight of the trailer tongue I gained over 2 inches of height in the back after adding the sumo springs. The body roll is much less now as well. The only dissappointment is not with etrailer or the Sumo Springs, it is with UPS. Initially they scheduled the delivery on Wednesday then changed it to Thursday. Thursday came in went and still didnt have it. Finally arrived on Friday. Thanks for the delay UPS.
These things SUCK for the Frontier, they are very stiff. THANK GOD I ordered thru etrailer and not Supersprings directly, ''Supersprings'' seems like a good American company to deal with UNTIL, you have an issue with their product. They will jerk you around and try to sell you 'other' products to fix the issue instead of simply honoring their website stated satisfaction guarantee.
If you have a Nissan frontier BEWARE this item may not fit your truck unless its lifted. If your truck is stock it will constantly ride on these and you'll feel every bump on the road. When you explain this to Supersprings they will say something along the lines of ''Just throw some weight on the back of your truck''
Thats not helping me. Thank you Alex J at etrailer for understanding my issue and making it right. I went ahead and ordered the firestone adjustable airbags from etrailer.com I want to reiterate This is not complaint against etrailer rather against that awful company Super Springs.
Made towing TT with my Toyota Tundra much better. My camper has a tongue weight over 900 pounds. Made bridge crossing and overpasses much smoother.
RECIEVED PRODUCT YESTERDAY prepared truck for spring installation cleaned threads on U bolts removed fasteners removed factory stops installed super springs both sides within an hour !!!
Helped reduce some of the sag and bounce when towing our trailer with the Tundra.
After 1 year of use with over 8,000 miles towing and 6,000 miles normal road use, I find unloaded, there is a noticeable impact on the springs, but it is not jarring, on heavier bumps only. On good roads, they are not noticeable as there is a gap between the spring and the frame of the truck. Under load towing, there is definitely a benefit in keeping the truck level. Again, you notice they are there, but it just feels like stiffer springs which limit the travel you feel without them. 2017 Toyota Tundra with 27' Travel Trailer.

This is the second pair if SumoSprings I have bought. The first pair of springs were Great coming my truck level with support trailering a 26 ft RV. My first truck was totaled last October by a bad driver.
I just bought enough pair SumoSpring in another truck to haul and support a big weight.

After about a year of installing Sumo springs on my 2002 Tundra, I am still quite pleased. I have driven about 15K miles with them in and while pulling a 2 axle travel trailer with about 600 pounds of tongue weight with weight distributing hitch plus another 500+ pounds of stuff in the back of the truck. Much improved ride and handling. Cheap money well spent.
The sumo springs have been a very good addition to my Toyota Tacoma DCLB. I added a leaf and changed the shocks at the same time I added the sumo and the truck rides about a half inch above the sumo. I definitely can feel the sumo kick in when I compress the rear on bumps etc. non loaded. It’s not a bad thing but I don’t get the same travel but I also don’t slam on the bump stop. With that said, both driving with a loaded up truck and trailering has been much better than before. I can definitely tell the sumo doing its job. I towed a 4000lb boat the other day and the truck behaved perfectly.
The massive ride feel improvement, I have a topper and drawers in the rear of my Tacoma. With the SumoSprings and medium-duty Old Man Emu leaf springs, the truck does not feel any hint of bucking or kicking anymore.
Absolutely love these! Had them on my 2004 Toyota Tundra for a year now and have been extremely impressed of how the truck handles with and without heavy loads. Worth every penny.

They are working out great still after well over a year now. Love how I can carry heavy to extremely heavy loads without the truck sagging down and still rides like a Cadillac
Great product ! Does all it claims and more than i expected. I leave my 5th wheel hitch mounted yr. round and haul bins of sand when I plow in the winter, so it's helping all the time. I can see and feel a difference in hauling our 30 ftr. Doesn't change the ride at all like just about anything else you'd need to do to get the help these give you. Easy install too!

Still goin strong. I’ve had numerous campers even a Tundra owner inquire about what I’ve done to level my truck for the load. It totally out does more springs! When and if they fatigue, I’ll buy em again.
Easy install- seems to have resolved the problem, Great product.
Product was delivered and was a breeze to install! A friend happened to be around when I got started and we had them both installed in less than 20 minutes with the help of a car lift available to us. Didn't quite raise the bed of the truck as far as I hoped it would, but still a great product! Guess that's just the Baja Edition? But did find out I might need different shocks so that will be my next step soon.

Still working great and as expected!
Great product and arrived early. Did have to enlarge the holes on my stock base plates to accommodate the slightly larger u-bolts. Included instructions made the install very easy.

Easy install and solved my “sagging” problem.
We installed these on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma in order to haul an in-bed camper across country and back. These SumoSprings were the perfect solution along with some new beefy AT tires to help support the weight of the camper and keep us moving with the right support and suspension we needed for the trip!

51524 The blue sumos have been working great . Yet like any suspension on a vehicle over time I’ve noticed the gap between the sumos and the frame have moved closer. That being said whenever the vehicle has full passenger weight or cargo it’s a fantastic ride. Without any load you will tend to feel the slight stiffness . The way I corrected that issue is by reducing the size of my Blue sumo by removing about an inch of the product . Will work the same and still be a great investment on prolonging your suspension but will definitely void warranty. I do think they sell a small size but you won’t realize this until you have installed your set . Still would highly recommend .
