Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Putco 60 inch long, direct fit, Blade LED tailgate light bar. Now, this is a custom fit item that is designed to fit the 2021 and newer Ford F-150 equipped with the factory LED taillights. To confirm that this is going to work for your vehicle, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide on our website and input the year, make and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will let you know if this will fit your vehicle. Now, this waterproof LED tailgate light bar is installed in the gap on your tailgate.

And it provides the auxiliary brake, tail, turn and reverse signals. As I mentioned, this is 60 inches long, and 5/8 of an inch wide, and 3/8 of an inch tall. And these LEDs produce bright red or white light based on the signal. As you can see, I already have it connected to 12 volt power and I have the running lights on currently. The chip on board LED technology creates a bright, solid panel of light.

And let me zoom in real quick and just show you these LEDs. The LED chips are mounted close together as you can see for uniform, high-intensity light, similar to a lighting panel. Now, I'd like to give you a demonstration of all of the functions that this light bar provides. So, obviously, I have my studio lights on now. Let me go ahead and turn the studio lights off and go through those functions with you.

So again, this is the running lights that are on. And then as you can see, that is the brake light function. So, it makes that light bar considerably brighter on the back of your truck, letting folks behind you know that you are engaging the brake pedal. And then let me go ahead and go through the signals here. So, let me go ahead and connect this.

And as you can see, that is our right turn signal making the right-hand side brighter. And then let me switch over to the left-hand side here. And that's our left-hand turn signal. And then let me go ahead and switch over to our reverse lights. Make that connection. And as you can see, the reverse light is a cool white color with a output of 3,000 lumens and a temperature of 6,000 Kelvin. So, it provides quite a bit of light. Not only are folks gonna be able to see you backing up, but I think that's gonna provide some light for you as well, especially in darker conditions, so you can see behind you a little bit. So again, there's your running lights and there is your reverse lights. Now, the sealed lens and housing unit are waterproof with a rating of IP69K. And what that means is it's gonna stand up to severe environmental conditions and cleaning methods. And the tinted polycarbonate housing provides a sleek look. And this is going to be a simple installation with the included automotive grade 3M tape and clips. And the quick-connect wiring harness, this is going to plug into your F-150's existing light connections. So, there's not gonna be any cutting or splicing of wires. And I'm a big fan of light bars such as this one. Not only is it a practical addition to your vehicle, but it also looks really cool on the back of your vehicle as well, especially in the nighttime. So, if you're looking for a light bar such as this one, and this one meets the specs, and you're looking for it to put on your '21 or newer F-150, I think this is gonna be a good option for you to consider.
