This wheel comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Lionshead 16 inch by 6 inch aluminum Eagle trailer wheel with the 6-on-5-1/2 inch bolt pattern and in the matte black finish. Now, this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rust-proof. And we mentioned this is the Eagle Series wheel, which is a split six-spoke design with a matte black finish to it. They do use an automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front to protect it from any scuffs and scratches.
One of the nice features I like on this wheel is the steel inserts that they put into lug nut wells right here. And that's to help keep your wheel securely in place on the trailer hub. What those inserts do is they help prevent holes from elongating, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. Now, they do offer complimentary roadside assistance for two years. Gives you flat tire service available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
If you notice right here, the valve stem is included. Now, this does not come with a center cap. If you do wanna have a center cap, we do sell those separately. And when you order a center cap, you wanna get one that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole here 'cause your center cap will go through this hole when you install it. So the diameter on this wheel is 4.25 inches.
So you wanna get a center cap that'll have the same pilot or the same diameter. This wheel does meet the DOT Department of Transportation Specification and the SAE J 1204 standards. Do wanna give you a few measurements now. We mentioned the diameter of the wheel is 16 inches and diameter is always measured inside to inside. So you can see if we take our tape measure and if we try to show you inside too inside, there's your 16 inch diameter.
The width is gonna be the same way. It's bead seat to bead seat, or inside to inside, there's your six inch width. And this wheel does have a bolt pattern of 6-on-5-1/2 inches. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, like in this case six, it's pretty easy because if you notice the lug holes are directly across from each other. So all you have to do is pick any hole. Let's say this one. Now we're gonna measure from this hole to this hole, but you're gonna measure center to center, so on this wheel, it'll measure 5-1/2 inches. So this is a 6-lug 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. This does use a wheel lug size of either 1/2 inch by 20 or 9/16 by 18. And the last thing is the weight capacity on this wheel, which is 3,300 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this Lionshead 16 inch by 6 inch aluminum Eagle trailer wheel with the 6-on-5-1/2 inch bolt pattern in the matte black finish.
