Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this TecNiq LED Oval Trailer Taillight. Now this oval trailer taillight is going to serve four functions for you. As you can see right now, the taillight function is activated. And I'm gonna go ahead and shut my studio lights off here and go through the other functions just so you have a clear view of what this is going to look like, especially in low light or dark conditions.

So again, we have our taillight function there. And then I'm gonna go ahead and activate the brake signal so you can see how much brighter those lights are going to be with the brakes activated. And then, I'm just going to simulate what a turn signal is going to look like. And then, let me go ahead and see if I can activate that brake light. Obviously I don't.

I'm just kind of touching wires here to my power source so you can see just how bright that backup light is going to be. And then, while I have that backup light on, I'm gonna go ahead and activate the brakes as well, so you can see what that's gonna look like when you're backing up and then you apply the brakes. Now just another view, let me go ahead for a wider view. I'm gonna activate the brake lights again, shine this on the wall behind me just so you can kinda get an idea of how much light it's going to put out. And then, taillights and then the brake lights.

So, hopefully that gives you a good idea of how this light is going to look and function, especially in low light or dark conditions. With my studio lights on, I'm gonna activate those brake lights again. So, even with my bright lights, you can see the brake lights with no problem. And then, turn signal. And then, backup light.

So, this'll be clearly visible in the daytime as well, so no issue there. Now this is, as you probably know, LEDs are gonna make great replacements for incandescent lights. They're rated for up to 100,000 hours of operation. And of course, LEDs are more efficient. They provide brighter light with less power output. There's no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments to be concerned about, they're vibration resistant. And there is a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. The waterproof construction of this light is going to make it great for use on trailers that may be submerged like your boat trailer. This sealed waterproof unit features a durable polycarbonate housing and military grade construction of the circuit board with the urethane potting is gonna give you better protection than common epoxy potting. This is going to be a surface mount installation. This is going to mount to the trailer surface with this built-in flange here. As you can see, mounting holes are there as well for you. I do wanna point out the hardware is not included with this, so you would just have to get the appropriate hardware that's gonna best fit your application. And I just wanted to go through the wires here. You probably know the significance of the colors. But of course, the white is going to be ground. And then the yellow wire is our backup wire, our backup lights rather, reverse lights. The red wire is gonna be the stop turn. And then the black wire is going to be taillights. Let's go over some measurements just so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. So looking at, let me go this way here. Looking at the overall length, we are sitting right at 7 1/2 inches long as you can see there. And then the overall height. We're sitting pretty close to 3 3/8ths inches tall. And then the overall depth. That's gonna be a little bit trickier for you to see probably, but we are sitting right at about 1 5/8ths inches deep. And then, let me see if I can give you the measurements on those mounting holes. So, lemme see if I can get these wires out of the way here. Let me look at the mounting holes lengthwise. I'm gonna try to give you the center to center. So, it looks like it is seven inches on center on those mounting holes going lengthwise. And then, going from bottom to top on those mounting holes. Lemme see here. It looks like we are pretty close 2 3/4 inches on center. So, this light will meet or exceed the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, the 108 Standards, and this is DOT compliant as well. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today.
