The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the internal components.
Surface-mount lights install flat against the surface of the trailer, so a hole does not need to be cut into the trailer for the light. This type of light is installed using a flange or bracket that has mounting holes. And mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.
A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. When properly installed, this type of light can function as both a front clearance light and a side marker light or as a rear clearance light and side marker light.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the Optronics Mini Sealed LED Marker Clearance Light.This light functions as a marker and/or a clearance light for your trailer. It's a nice, small design. Very bright though. It's a really nice design. Sonically sealed, waterproof design when it comes with the housing, so everything is sealed. You don't have to worry about anything failing or not working if you submerse this in water.So, it's got that sonically sealed, submersible, waterproof design and it's a surface mount installation.
So, you've got a mount hole right here and a mount hole right here. Mounting hardware not included but it can be mounted horizontally or vertically and it is an LED system.LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, they're much more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.This does feature a single wire design, for power and then it grounds through the mounting hardware. Again, mounting hardware not included.We have a nice, durable, red polycarbonate lens.
It is PC and P2 rated and it's SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.Now, I took a measurement from edge to edge going this direction and got a measurement of two and a half inches. Side to side going this direction is 1 1/16". Overall thickness is 5/8".We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power. That way, you can see what it looks like with power running to it and then we'll also turn off our overhead lights, so you can see it in a lower light setting.So, you can see here that the unit sends out a really nice, consistent signal. Plenty of light output.
We do have a multi-diode design, so that means that we have more than one LED on the unit. So, the multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output.Power draw at 12.8v, is 0.06 amps and Optronics puts a lifetime warranty on the LEDs.And that's going to do it for today's look at the Mini Sealed LED Marker Clearance Light.

Bought as a extra module for my 3 light cluster on the back of my trailer. Being I seem to break lights on accident. It does work.
