Cover sits 1" above bed rails.Just received and installed in less than an hour. Thanks to the etrailer video, this was simple and all the parts fit perfectly on a 2023 F150. I had a very similar cover on my last truck (Solid Fold 2.0) and after 7 years it was as good as new - but this version has better latching and more robust mounting. It does stand off about an inch (more room underneath than flush mount) though looks great with black bed rails and there's less weatherstripping to get sun baked or damaged. Probably not a cover you're going to want to take off and reinstall all the time though even if you did it's probably less than 10 minutes. Partly because it's not light....maybe 75lbs? BTW that would be a nice callout for etrailer to mention for comparison shopping. Overall, a great cover and when you compare pricing this is a rock-solid option.
