The tri-fold tonneau has dent-resistant panels that keep your tonneau looking new and that provide weather protection for your truck bed and cargo. And the cover folds up two-thirds of the way or removes easily for those times when you need to haul bulky cargo or tow with your fifth-wheel or gooseneck hitch.

You don't have to mount separate rails and clamps to your truck bed side rails. And there is absolutely no drilling required. No tools, no hardware, no hassle. The secret behind the Solid Fold 2.0's simplicity and versatility is the built-in clamps. These T-style clamps fold up and store inside the front and rear panels of the cover. Just pop out the clamps, pull them down, and hook them under the bottom lip of your truck bed's side rails. With all 4 clamps attached, the Solid Fold 2.0 will remain securely in place. The 4 clamps are made of durable, fiberglass-reinforced nylon.
Convenient Folding Design
The Solid Fold 2.0's tri-fold design lets you easily access the rear of your truck bed. Just open the tailgate, reach under the cover, and undo the spring-loaded clamps to release the rear panel. The clamps can be folded into integrated pockets so that they store flush with the tonneau panel. Next, lift the panel up to access the rear of your bed. The middle panel doesn't latch down, so it too can be easily lifted up.
When it comes time to haul larger cargo and you need to travel with your truck bed open, the Solid Fold 2.0 is versatile enough to let you do so without your having to remove the tonneau. Fold up the cover from back to front and secure it at the cab with the integrated Hold-Tite buckles to free up two-thirds of your bed. For full bed access, just undo the clamps at the cab and lift the cover off completely. Then store it until next time. Note: You cannot drive around with only the rear panel open.
If the need suddenly arises to transport large cargo and you need full use of your truck bed, the Solid Fold 2.0 can easily be folded up, removed, and laid in your bed, giving you the ability to transport both your cargo and your tonneau cover at the same time.
Sturdy, All-Weather Construction
The strong, 1" thick tonneau panels consist of a polypropylene inner core with an automotive-grade, high-strength thermoplastic skin that features an OEM-style, matte black finish. The aircraft-grade aluminum panel frames and hinges have a textured powder coat for added protection from rust. The tonneau panels are highly dent resistant, remain cool to the touch on hot days, and won't fade or crack from exposure to harsh UV rays.
The hard polymer rubber corners, hinge caps, and snap-on, automotive-grade seals help to keep water out of your truck bed.
When your tailgate is closed and locked, no one will be able to get in to open the cover, thus safeguarding your truck bed and its contents. The sturdy polypropylene construction will also help to prevent anyone from peeling the cover up at the sides or cutting through its center, ensuring additional security.
Easy, No-Drill Installation
The Solid Fold 2.0 comes fully assembled and couldn't be easier to install. Just lay the folded cover across your truck bed, behind the cab, and then secure the front panel to your truck bed side rails using the built-in Jaw-Grip clamps. These clamps come pre-installed in the Solid Fold 2.0 and attach directly to your truck bed rails. The clamps secure the cover directly to the wall flange of your truck bed. Align the upper portion of the clamps with the side rail walls and hand-tighten the T-handle until the cover is snug.
Once you've attached the front panel to your truck, fold the rest of the cover out and secure the rear panel using the built-in EZ-Lock clamps. ust pop the clamp out of the rear panel so that they hang down near the side rails of your truck. Then pull down the clamp so that it hooks under the bottom edge of the side rail wall, and release the clamp. The spring-loaded action ensures that the clamps will remain securely in place. To release the clamps, just tug on each one and detach it from the rail wall. That's it - no drilling, no hardware, no hassle.

This Tonneau cover is specifically designed to fit your truck bed. There's no drilling required and there's not even any tools required. It doesn't use any side rails either. Instead, it uses an intuitive, spring loaded clamp design built right into the Tonneau cover.
The integrated clamp easily unscrews so you can take the Tonneau cover off and on as your leisure. The individual panels are dent and weather resistant to help protect your cargo. The panels are an automotive grade polypropylene with a high strength, thermal plastic skin. They won't fade or break down from exposure to UV rays or harsh weather and unlike other Tonneau covers, they'll remain cool to the touch on hot days. The panel's frames are an aircraft grade aluminum with a powder coat for additional protection.
The matte black finish is gonna compliment most trucks. The tri-fold design gives you 2/3 bed access when the Tonneau cover is installed. Because it's easy to remove, full bed access is just a few latches away.If you need to travel with the Tonneau cover open, the safety buckles made it easy to do so. Because your latches are on the inside, when your tailgate is closed, your bed is completely secure. Other hard Tonneau covers fold up against the cab for full bed access, but they're not easily removed like the Solid Fold 2.0.
Some Tonneau covers, you still have stake pocket access. With this one, you lose those. Compared to other Tonneau covers with rails, it doesn't take up any space inside your truck bed. It does sit an inch and a half above your truck bed rails. The snap on seals and the rubber corners help keep water out of the truck bed.

Now that we installed the Tonneau cover and had a good look at it, we've brought some of our product team in and we're gonna check it out. Speaker 2: So what do you guys think are the best features of this cover Speaker 1: Well, it looks and acts like a high quality Tonneau cover, a high quality folding Tonneau cover, in my opinion. Speaker 3: What I like the most about it is it would be really quick to remove. If I wanted to take this off of my truck, it's a simple four clamp installation, no rails on the bed. Speaker 2: Yeah. I like the material. I like the flat kind of color of it. It seems to be a high quality look, especially on the darker colored car. Speaker 1: It's a thermal plastic material, so it's not going to be hot to the touch when it's extremely hot outside. So you can touch it and it won't be burning your skin off. Speaker 2: It has separate clamps for the driver's side and passenger side and they do store in the cover, but I'd rather not have to go to both sides of the truck to open it to flip it. But other than that, the clamps seem to work pretty good. Speaker 1: Yeah, it is nice that they're built in. That way, they're not kind of just hanging around. They stay in and that way when it's folded over, you don't have to worry about them knocking or banging around on the other panel. Speaker 3: When you go to fold it, it's got these extra rubber pieces here, foam blocks that'll keep it from scratching the other side of your cover. Speaker 1: Yeah, that's gonna help with the vibration when you're on the road. Yeah, inaudible 00:03:18 awesome too. Speaker 2: Seems they have really good cab seals, really good side seals. There's no rails, so once you take it off, your truck bed's completely open. Speaker 1: That was what I really liked about it is that there's no rails. I didn't have to do multiple part installations in order to finally get it installed. We pulled it out of the box. We set it in place, unfolded it, squared it up, put the clamps on, and we're done. That was it. Speaker 2: So it won't fold up from this direction because of the way the easy off clamps are in the front Speaker 1: Right. Speaker 2: But you can strap it down here and you can at least have it and put things higher than the Tonneau cover in the back part of the bed anyway. Speaker 1: And we discussed that if you want full bed access, it's just as fast and easy to take off, so if you decided that, it doesn't fold up. It's just as fast to take off. Speaker 2: Well, maybe three or four minutes just to unbolt two clamps. Speaker 1: Yeah. If that. Speaker 2: Look under the rail here inside. Speaker 3: And you can travel in this position. I'm very pleased with the performance the Extang Solid Fold Tonneau cover during the past year. It keeps the bed clear of blown-in debris, provides easy access and is removable when full access is needed. I like the solid top since there is a regular need to put something heavy there while sorting items out in the bed. It isn't completely leak free, but I never expected that from the beginning. The only drawback I've found is the need to be careful when folding the panels back. It's a solid cover which means pinched fingers if your'e not paying attention.
I've had this cover for over a year now and it still looks brand new, with very little maintenance other than wiping down the seals when I wash it and occasionally treating them so they stay soft. I've had a Bakflip Revolver in the past and required way more maintenance to keep it looking good.
Initially, the Solid Fold 2.0 developed some bubbles in the cover, but etrailer and Extang resolved it quickly and sent out a replacement cover. Installation was a bit more challenging only because I have a Nissan Titan XD with the Titan Boxes, but with a little trimming of the screws on the forward brackets, and the Titan Box covers cleared them.
I do experience some minor water penetration following heavy thunderstorms down here in South Texas, but nothing that causes too much of an issue.

While I think the cover is good and durable, it doesn’t fully cover the holes along the top rail where a rack or such could be installed. As I don’t have a rack the holes are not fully cover and rain does get into the bed of the truck. Maybe some one could design a flat plastic plug cover for them to alleviate this issue.

This is an excellent hard cover. I purchased it thinking that I would use it when I took my truck on a family trip (to turn the bed into a "trunk." I had wanted something removable because I did not think that I would leave it installed. The cover has stayed installed since it's purchase. Even though it is easy to operate, it does not make any noise or "jump." I have had it outside in several very strong thunderstorms and have not found it to leak at all. Also, I have been able to stand on it (when it is folded over on itself in the storage location) - not that you're supposed to do that but it proved to me that it is quite strong.
I absolutely recommend this cover. It's easy to use, durable and doesn't leak. Also, it really does look good.
The install on my Honda Ridgeline went ok. The instructions and materials worked well.
The cover is sturdy and works fairly well. It's not completely water-tight, but it's tight enough for my needs. The first cover that I received did not lay flat on the bed walls. One of the joints in the cover sections left a gap. When I reported this to Extang, the promptly sent another cover and asked me to destroy to original. The replacement cover lays flatter on the bed walls, but still not perfect, but I'm satisfied and didn't want to destroy another cover. Opening (folding) the two rear sections is very easily done, leaving a single panel in place at the front of the bed. This works ok for most loads. But when I need to open the entire bed, the cover must be completely removed. This means loosening the two front clamps by laying in the bed to reach and loosen the screws that secure the entire top. Once loosened, the cover can be lifted off the truck bed. A bit of a chore, but I suspect similar to other hard covers.
So far this product has been working our great for me. I put it on a Ford 2015 F-350 DRW 4x4. It fit right on and snug and doesn't move around when traveling and you can drive while it is folded up (1/3) of the bed covered. It does not transfer heat down into the bed so that area won't be any hotter than the surrounding air, came in handy camping. it is easy to take on and off which is why I picked this one, I have a slide-in camper but I live in snow country so I needed something in the winter to keep my truck bed usable. This is my first cover like this, I've always used toppers but this is far easier to use and is working out just fine, even in the snow.
This product is a great product and has kept my truck bed and cargo dry. The cover is top notch, very easy to put on and easy to remove when l need to use the whole bed. I would recommend this cover to anyone who needs a good quality cover for their truck. It also helped the looks of my truck and the whole bed is lockable. Not only am I completely satisfied with the product, your customer service is the best. There was a minor defect to one of the sections of the cover when I received it. I called the website where I purchased it and got a complete runaround. After a couple of days, I decided to call the manufacturer direct. The customer service agent immediately sent me out a replacement panel at no cost to me. I wish I remember her name, she was extremely knowledgable and professional. The next time I or anyone I know needs a cover, you can be assured it will be one of your products. The product is 1 year old and still looks new
That cover is the best one available for what I needed.It does not leek,it offes good security,it supports me standing on it to wash the cab back window and roof and it doesn't go airborne if I neglect to fasten the two rear latches.Recomended it to friends with other disappointing covers.
This is one horrible piece of equipment, and evidently the manufacturer cannot figure out the problem with the hinges and seals. Water POURS thru the cover. I have owed the older model SolidFold and it has been good. I assumed the 2.0 would be as good or better. Many attempts at remedying the situation failed. Thanks to eTrailer for great support and we eventually got the unit(s) returned to Extang. DO NOT BUY this unit unless and until they can guarantee that the issue has been fixed.
It's ok. The first one failed for several reasons and I was asked to work directly with the manufacture rather than being able to leverage the great customer service that etrailer advertises. The 2nd one is better but still leaks at the seams but it just wasn't worth my time to try a 3rd. I do like the concept though, just wish it was a little better built. I now use plastic tubs in the back to keep things dry and then leave it open for a while after any rain or snow.
The shipping was from the factory, but an etrailer rep kept me posted on the shipping date and tracking. The cover itself was EXTREMELY easy to assemble and attach to the bed of my truck. I am greatly pleased with the purchase.

Excellent cover, easy to install. I also added the Pop and Lock for extra security. Honda wanted $1200 to purchase and install! Do it yourself and save.
Leaks at seams. I would suggest a type where it is hard but the entire top is covered with vinyl so that there are no seems to leak.
I am extremely satisfied with my hard tonneau cover. it is exactly what I wanted. It was very easy to install and keeps the items in the back of my truck secure.
Love the tonneau cover with one important caveat - ensure to install correctly for your vehicle! On a 2017 Ridgeline, it was not clear (to me) that I needed to use the included add-on rails for the install...and, then, it blew straight off on the highway! Luckily, no one was hurt and there was minimal damage to the cover.
Now that it is installed with the proper rails, it has been wonderful! Plus, apparently it can take quite a beating since it is fine after blowing off my truck at 70mph and crashing to the pavement.
