Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the pop and lock cargo safe powered deadbolt lock. This is going to fit onto your 2015 through 2019 Ford T150, T250 and T350 transit van. This will install on the right side rear swing door or on your sliding side door to provide extra security for any of the tools or musical equipment or whatever you have stored in your van. This does not have any exterior components, so no one can access it from the outside of your van so you don't have to worry about anyone coming up and picking the lock or anything like that. This is a nice sturdy steel construction.

So it's going to hold up well, give you a lot of extra security there.You can see, this isn't only just going to come with the deadbolt mechanism here, but we're also going to have two of our catch brackets. So depending on what sort of application you want, whether you want the side sliding door or the back door, you're going to have a bracket for each of those applications. You're also going to get installation instructions that walk you through step by step with pictures, how to do everything and mounting hardware. So everything that you're going to need is included.And one of the really, really nice things about this kit is that it's going to work with your van's key fob. So again, there's no external key slot or anything like that.

You just use the key fob to lock and unlock just like with the rest of your van. You've got these two wires here. These are going to fit into the electrical wiring on your van to allow it to connect to that key fob function. So very, very secure. You're not going to have to worry about anybody breaking in with this kind of system in place.

It should do a very good job of protecting your van.It does also come with a one-year limited warranty. So if you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give us a call. We'd help you out with that, but I think this is going to be a great option, especially for those of you who maybe have a work van, keep your tools in the back or you're with a music group or something where you haul your equipment in the back of the van.
