This is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1998 to 2001 Dodge RAM 1500 and 2500 trucks with the heated power mirror. This side view mirror is a direct replacement for your driver side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does offer the power remote capability so you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.
This one also offers the heated mirror glass which will clear any frost or ice and helps reduce fogging. The mirror on this is an OE grade flat glass with first surface plating to help reflect clear images. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, and because it's a driver's side mirror it is a flat lens which will reflect the true representation of the object's size in the mirror. This is a break away design so the mirror will fold when it's struck to help prevent breakage. It's made of a durable plastic housing with a nice black finish. If you notice on the mounting it is an easy no-drill installation.
It has the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror, even comes with three nuts to help when you install it to use for installation. If you notice the mirror will plug into your existing electrical wiring. The specs on this again, it's for one driver's side mirror. This is designed to replace the original equipment part number of 55076489AC.
