Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at the Prest-O-Fit black 2 piece Step Rug set for the Lippert Solid Step RV steps. Now this rug set is going to fit and wrap around each of the two steps of your Lippert Solid Step RV steps with the 24 and 1/8 inch wide steps. On your screen, I am including the model number of those 24 and 1/8 inch wide steps that that rug set is going to fit. Now what I have here for demonstration purposes is the steps and the step rug set that are going to fit the 20 and 1/8 inch wide steps.

For space, because of space limitations, I don't have the 24 and 1/8 inch steps here, but I do want to show you what the 24 and 1/8 inch rugs are going to look like. So as you can see, they are wider than the ones that I have here. So I just wanted to make sure that you had a good idea of the size comparison. Again, this is going to be the 24 and 1/8 inch wide step rugs there. But with these smaller ones here, everything's going to be the same.

They're going to install the same. So again, because of space limitations, I'm just using the shorter ones here. Now this material is made of heavy duty, UV protected outdoor turf. And so this is going to do a great job of resisting fading and as well as resisting mold and mildew. These strong bristle fibers are going to do a great job of removing the dirt and debris from your shoes.

So what that means for you is there's gonna be less sweeping and less mopping inside of your RV or camper, which is always a good thing. Now another another benefit that these offer is, especially if it's wet, instead of having the metal steps being wet and maybe giving you less traction in that way, when you have these on, you're gonna have more traction, a better grip, so you're not gonna have to worry about inclement weather as much with these step rugs on. Now, these are gonna be very easy to clean off as well. All you really have to do is just spray them off with a hose, let them air dry, and you're basically gonna be good to go. Another benefit is this carpeted design is gonna be great for your pets 'cause it covers those hard metal steps that might scare them off or be uninviting to them.

I do have this step rug installed. This one I do not 'cause I do wanna walk through the installation process. I wanna show you the underside here real quick. Each step rug has a rubberized back, which is going to help hold them in place along with hook and loop fasteners. You're just gonna pull that film off to expose that adhesive there. And then also the star of the show are these steel zinc plated springs. They're, lemme bring that into frame there. They are rust resistant and they're going to do a great job of holding these rugs in place. So let me go ahead and install this bottom rug for you, just to show you how easy it's gonna be to install. Obviously you're going to want to remove that adhesive and install the hook and loop fasteners first, but I'm not going to do that for our purposes here. Now I think it's going to be easier to install these probably when your steps are raised. So you can see I'm unable to do that here. So I'm basically going to just kind of feel my way here through this installation. So what I'm doing is I am putting one hook of the spring in one hole and then stretching the spring to the other hole on the opposite side. So I've got that first one in, got the, getting the second spring in. And so installation is going to be relatively easy and these springs are going to do a great job of holding each step rug in place and the springs provide just enough tension to where you're not gonna have to worry about that rug moving or scooting around on that step platform. You're gonna be able to step confidently on these rugs without worrying about them coming, moving around, coming loose, or anything like that. So again, this is going to be a lot easier if you can see, but I'm getting that third one in and then I'll just have that fourth one left. These, all the, the ones that I have here come in black and Prest-O-Fit actually calls them obsidian black. So if that, if that's the kind of colors that you have on your camper, this is really going to do a great job of matching that color. We do also offer these in another color, which I'll talk about the end of our time together. So I have it installed and again, I don't have the hook and loop fasteners installed with this. But even with those springs on there, you can see that that rug piece is not moving. It is secure on that step platform. So no screws, no glue, no tools needed. So very easy installation. You have a great tight, snug, secure fit. Instructions are also gonna be included to guide you through that installation process. And as I mentioned, we do carry these in a different color. That additional color is buckskin brown. And so if you like the rug set but you're not too crazy about the black color, you can get the brown color. You can take that item number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field or our website and that will take you to the brown version of this rug set.
