The Sidewinder sewer hose support system keeps your RV's waste management hose elevated off the ground and away from damaging elements. The added height also provides increased visibility to help prevent your hose from being accidentally crushed. The sloped design of the Sidewinder ensures that the sewer tubing maintains a downward incline all the way from the beginning of the system to the end, thus ensuring that no waste gets clogged in the hose.
The Sidewinder's snap-fit hinges lend durability to the structure and help prevent it from creeping closed after it is set at your desired length. These same hinges provide the system flexibility to maneuver around obstacles in the path of the hose. The 2-1/2" deep grooves cradle your sewer hose off the ground, keeping it away from damaging elements that could cause pin holes or tears in the lining.
Setting up the Sidewinder is as easy as removing the included handle and extending it to your desired length before laying your sewer hose in the cradles. When it's not in use, the Sidewinder collapses to just 14-5/8" for convenient storage, and the handle snaps around the compressed system so it can be easily carried.

Good to have nice long lifts for hose, but would have been better if just 3" taller at the start to keep pitch more even from dump value to sewer.

Product is good. Unfortunately I bought it for a different purpose then using fo my camper. I was going to use it on my house for the gutter drain. Gave up on that idea and went to another solution. The ramp will be used on camper now.

Works great for longer distances
Had a 16k sidewinder inbox it cracked traded it out for a20k w/o air bag much beefier unit etrailer helped me out to warranty the pinbox with out a problem Reese drug me along for 3months with no results.

Side note I don’t think it’s right to have to pay freight to return a faulty part that is not my fault. Just wrong. If it was my fault that would be ok. etrailer should change there policy on this !!!!
Parts where on back order per information given by my 2 other vendors etrailer had it in stock and arrived on time before original ETA

My only regret with this kingpin is not switching to it sooner. I recently changed up my entire set up to this kingpin and a Hensley BD5 Trailer Saver hitch, for my 41ft Jayco Seismic Wave. If you use a slider hitch, whether auto or manual, you know there's a significant lag in response from the trailer when turning and backing. This kingpin eliminates that lag time. My hitch/kingpin combo is a pricey upgrade, but if you tow often then it will be money we'll spent.
I really like this. Simplifies the dump for sure.
I needed the sidewinder hitch due to transferring from a standard bed truck to a short bed. I installed it my self and the setup was very easy. It works just as it should!
