I replaced the door latch/lock on my wife's living quarters horse trailer with this Bauer one and it was a perfect fit and easy install. Now she can lock her door and has a spare key as well. The order/shipping process was without any issues as I always experienced with etrailer. Definitely recommend.
Could not get this door fitting anywhere. Found on line with you and purchased, with minor modification fitted and am more than happy as works well.

Great lock, needed a little modification to fit in the Trimark footprint, had to remove some metal off the web below the deadbolt latch, needed this on my 2002
Coachman, some other motorhome models may not need this, other than that fit just fine, works slick as a whistle.

The Door Lock was a gift for a friend living in Florida. (The OEM was no longer available.) I was informed it was an easy install and is working as it should. My initial contact with etrailer was a phone call. I found the woman who I spoke with to be utmost professional, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly without any "sell."
Carol, the lock after a little adjusting fit my door opening, but still had a little trimming and tapping to do before it sat square in the hole. it only has the deadbolt from the inside the latch lock it only engaged from the outside of the door. You Got the lock Here and got us back on the road! Thank you Roy
Nearly a one for one replacement. The one difficulty was with under the deadbolt on the old lock there was a notched out space for a door stiffener to fit into. The new lock the gap had been filled in between the deadbolt and the main bolt. Required some modifications to the stiffener to allow the locking mechanism to angle into the factory space.

Perfect fit to replace old Trimark lock and was a good bit cheaper. Feel heavy duty and was easy to install.
With only one lever inside, the new lock is easier to use. The 2nd keyhole on the handle only locks the handle on the outside, not the inside.
It fit right , it works right , locks right but but the reason for 4 stars an not five is for some reason on the inside there is just barely enough room to get your finger tips behind the handle to shut the door.... I thought about trying to bend it out a bit , then realize I would probably break it not bend it so we live with it
The install went well except there was 1 metal screw missing out of four required to install the inside panel. Fortunately I was able to use a screw from the old locking mechanism.
It took me a while to find the right lock . When I opened the box and checked it out it was perfect. I installed it myself and I have had no problems with it .
Will I have a 2000 coachman, Had to cut the door a little wider also there was an aluminum plate in the door frame. For the deadbolt to set in you had to grind down the top part of the bracket 1/8 to 1/4 so it would set flush to the new door lock.A little modification, it went in like a glove. Best part now the door has a deadbolt. No directions, half to look on the add page. Great product!!
It seems to be a better lock than what was installed by the manufactuer. I installed it on my 2016 Thor Vegas without any modifications. The only negative, so far, is it did not come with any insturctions.
Did not fit like the old one. Only has one lock latch inside.
Much better build quality than the original I had on the coach. Received one that was damaged in shipment and then one that didn't work. As usual etrailer was fantastic. Sent replacements no questions asked. The third one was perfect and is working perfectly.
5th wheel door latch doesnt fit. Way too big! Slow delivery too.

This lock requires the cut out to be 5.25 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall. We do have a lock that is smaller. It is part # BA54FR. The cut out dimensions for this lock are 2.75 inches wide by 3.75 inches tall.

Customer service was very helpful over the phone with helping me find the replacement door latch with deadbolt. Softouch 1997 3 horse trailer. Order arrived in about five days took about 10 minutes to install.
Very good quality.
While the lock fit the hole in the door, the surface plate did not cover the same unpainted area on the door. Also, there was not instructions included.

This product does not come with instructions but you should be able to unscrew the door handle from the inside of the camper to take it off and this one would install the same.
took a long time to receive the package, it could be more of a postal problem.
Perfect replacement for original Tri-Mark unit.

product was perfect, came on time, works perfect. I would highly recommend.
Great product, had to do a little bit of resizing the hole in door for it to sit, but once I got that, it fit snug and works well.

I can understand that it would be frustrating that the lock did not fit. I know it is intended to work with doors that are 1.25 inches to 1.50 inches thick. The cutout dimensions need to be 5.25 inches wide x 4.50 inches tall. You mentioned that it had only one latch lock, it should also have a dead bolt lock. If this is not the case please let me know.
