Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the C-clip door holder. This is going to be a handy little guy to help hold your door open while you're loading things in or out of your RV, or your enclosed trailer. So you don't have to have an extra set of hands, hold that door open for you or find something to prop the door open with. So it just makes life a little bit easier in that respect.

It is going to be a metal design, so it's going to be nice and sturdy. It's a zinc-coated steel, or zinc-plated steel, so it should be pretty resistant to any kind of rust or corrosion. So you want to mount this to the outside of your trailer or your camper, should work out pretty well.It's a pretty straightforward system, will have a receiver and a post. It's going to fit in place pretty nicely. The head of that post has a rounded design, so it should have a little bit of forgiveness if it's not right on center whenever those two come together.

Kind of looks like a little person holding up a plate above their heads there, which is kind of fun. As you can see, it's just a little kind of spring clip, then that post comes over and pops in place. It does come with the hardware to get that installed, so will have two screws per bracket to get that mounted in place.As far as the size, the post measures 3" long, roughly, and 2 1/4" wide, and then 5/8" thick. Our receiver bracket measures 7/8" tall by 2 1/4" long, and then 1" wide. Whenever those two are together, the span that this will fit is 3 1/2", that's going from either end of the bracket.

So this space here is 3 1/2". Again, we get our four screws. Each of those should be about 1" long, but I'll just quickly measure that to verify. Yep, about 1" long there for our screws, so it should give you enough of a bite to hold those down in place. It is covered by a lifetime warranty from JR Products.
