Today we're going to review part number AUT-CAD2B-C, and this is the Au-Tomotive Gold Stainless Steel Modern Cadillac Trailer Hitch Cover for 2-Inch Hitches. This is with the chrome and black finish. Hitch covers look really cool, but they do more than just accessorize your vehicle. This Cadillac hitch cover will help keep dirt out of your receiver and prevents buildup so you can easily install your ball mounts and other hitch accessories when you need them. This hitch cover's a great way to protect your receiver and express yourself all in one. As you can see, it uses the officially licensed Cadillac logo, slides into your hitch receiver to help keep out the dirt and prevent rust.
As you can see, it's a full-color decal, which exemplifies modern Cadillac branding. Has a nice vinyl coating to protect the decal from water, chemicals, and UV rays. If you notice, it has the 3D ABS plastic trim, which is very attractive, and it has a nice chrome plating that adds a classic style, and also uses a durable black acrylic background. It is all mounted on top of a nice rust-proof polished stainless steel base, so you can see it gives a mirror-like shine, helps resist rust and corrosion, and that's all connected to a 1-piece riveted construction stainless steel sleeve, so you get this just like this and there's no assembly required. You do need to use a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock to install this onto your hitch. As you can see, there's multiple holes drilled.
You just push this into your hitch, line up the hole that matches up, put your pin and clip or your lock through. We do sell the pin and clip or the hitch lock separately. Here's an example of a hitch pin and clip that you would use. We do sell that separately. It's part number PC3. This part is made in the USA, and again the application on this is for 2-inch by 2-inch trailer hitch receivers, and this does come with a lifetime warranty.

One wonders why all covers made for 1 1/4" with and adapter for 2" so there would be no need for 2 sizes. I attached it to my E Trailer hitch on my Corvette. Yes a tow hitch on a Corvette for bike rack.

This is the second time I have purchased a trailer hitch from this company. I only had to replace this product because I was rear ended a few weeks ago by another driver. The tow bar took all the damage and while it had to be replaced, it protected the back of my jeep from further impact.

I had a cheap rubber cover but it either blew off in the wash or got stolen. With a locking pin this one should stay put. Makes a nice little enhancement to my vehicle and shows pride in having served our country. Glad it arrived in time for display this "Veterans Day".
